Physicx does a lot of powermoves, but the thing about his moves are that they are so sophisticated and still fresh that you can't say anything bad to that. He takes regular moves to his own quirkiness, very clean.

If you watch the original footage Lilou was on point here.. Physicx was way better than Lilou can't deny that, but Lilou seems looks fun to watch and always on music
Watch this battle with the original soundtrack and then you'll understand why Lilou won,almost every single move he did flowed with the music and it was creative.Physicx is really sick with those power moves and technical tricks, but Lilou flowed with the beat, and he knew that was the best way to beat a Bboy like Physicx.
I can´t understand why phisicx only has participated only one tima at red bull bc one. He has a lot of posibilities to win, or at least he had. It´s a fucking legend.
@Elzane Booysen in my opinion I don’t think physics is way better than lilou. If you saw lilou vs Hong 10 it didn’t look like lilou was actually doing his best. But still I think Physicx won

Lilou showed a dance, musicality and rhythm in contrast to Physicx. Physicx showed only tricks and handstands. Yes, he is the best in this, but breakdancing is more than that, much more.
Well, Physicx was brilliant at power...and his moves are so clean! The elbow spins are insane...beyond brilliant, actually. However, if you watch the battle with the original music, it'll become clear that Lilou took this one. His musicality took it...I don't think anyone can hit the beat the way Lilou can. He even found time to punk Physicx...he's telling him to listen to the beat. Love both, because they're both awesome.
Lilou has a feel to the music, but honestly I see too many pauses and mistakes. Plus he does the same footwork the whole time repeatedly.. Lets be honest neither of them were very impressive. Honestly I think physicxs should've won not because Im a fan but because he played it safe but still came out with great moves. Lilou stood around and was just pretty much wiggling the whole time.
Try watching the video with the original music. You will see the musicality of Lilou. Plus factor is his energy. Yeah, I noticed he is really wiggling in his battles which is quite funny and not really a negative factor for me at all. It kind of shows his energy during the battle. Physix is a great powermover. He just does not flow with the music.
jahmhil ruckus That doesn't matter, Physicx got robbed, Lilou crashed so much in this, he crashed in his 1990 or 2000's at 1:58 and he crashed at that head thing he does at 2:24, so sloppy but he won, so sad.

I completely agree with you. Bboying started off as footwork and dance moves. Not the power moves. The power moves was an evolutionary concept added to bboying. You need to keep to your beat and put down the steps. Power moves are complementary.
Man I've been viewing this video since the day it was out. As much as I wanna say Physicx should've been the winner. You have to take in to consideration that Lillou was killing it with the "original" music. (Hard to tell in this vid). But!... At the end of the day Breakdancing is and always will be about entertainment, and should only be judged upon by how entertaining each individual was. In my honest opinion, if there was ever a need for a redemption round this was the match that needed it. Because let's be honest real Bboy fans. This was the "Tyson vs Douglas" of breakdancing.

@@johnj3027 Lilou does A lot of top rock and he is mixing hip hop and stuff. it makes more sense with the original music obviously.. but the thing is when the crowd is cheering on the top rock 99 out of 100 times they are cheering because you kill the beat....if the move is not especially diifficult.And obviously the judges give you points as well (for killing the beat).Lilou did ok....i still think he lost this but i guess its closer than we first thought.....
It's probably been asked already a hundred times but what is the music in this video? Would be nice if music was automatically displayed since RU-vid already blocked music from videos that it detects
So we are all very well in agreement that Physicx won as far as power moves go, but Lilou has the feel of the beat and the movement to the music, and that's the very good reason that he won, because when he dances, he knows how to move to the music, not just spin on one hand. Sure Physicx can move to the music very well, but this battle, he lacked in that, and that was his reason of loss. Physicx is still my favorite Bboy.
okay people...you need to watch this with the ORIGINAL MUSIC...every single step lilou takes is perfect with the beat. Physicx did the moves, but it was like there was no music...what lilou did here was truly exceptional when you watch it on the real beat, even when he slides his foot on the floor goes perfectly with the scratch in the music... so before commenting, go watch it with real original beat
Guys, I'm a HUGEE Physicx fan and if this were the original music, I'd say that Physicx won but this isn't the original song. Watch the one with the oriiginal song and it makes more sense as to why the judges chose Lilou.
Lilou no mas gano por su humor y por que siguio mas la musica, no digo que sea trampa o algo malo eso es un factor muy importante en un Bboy. Pero en mi opinión el ganador es Physicx, pero bueno el no baila con la música, y Lilou se lucio en eso por mas que haya cometido errores. En resumen Lilou gano limpiamente, pero en mi opinion el ganador tenia que physicx. No solo de la batalla sino de la red bull bc one 2005.
although both bboys were undoubtedly amazing, you honestly need to watch this video with the original music (just search it up and find it) because the music in there really shows that lilou was sure to the beat with his moves by collaborating them along with each beat of the music. although lilou won, physicx pulled off some godly moves but he didnt go along with the beat as well as lilou and the fact that the floor was mostly lilou also comes into play. the original music>this vid's music
Também acho, Hong tem 4 finais disputadas ganhando 2 em 2006 e 2013 e perdendo 2 em 2005 e 2016, acho que a de 2005 estava bem "impossívelzinha" dele ganhar, mas a de 2016 e um pouco dúvidosa.
Yeah there's style that can be added to power moves but you should NEVER forget the one reason why people dance/bboy in the first place: music. The main reason why Lilou won is not only because of his style, but because he danced to the music. Physicx was throwing in a lot of power moves while barely moving to the beat. Don't get me wrong, I love them both and am a fan of each but Lilou took this one.

physicx had the power and control, but lilou had the musicality & originality. When you get two vastly different styles like that, really depends on the judges bias/preference in what’s good & what’s bad in bboying
First time rewatching this after 7 years, I don't understand how Lilou won this, he crashed every round and Physicx made a few slip ups too but less obvious one, also the time limit is so stupid, they shouldve at least let Physicx finish his set.
+zzzzImTired yeah I rewatched that too, lilou was on beat, but that doesn't dismiss Physicx crazy blow up or the crashes. I never understood why Red Bull always used to cover up the original music.
+MadRock Bruh lilou was the one that got everyone into the music and had them feeling it. he put the dance into breakdance. there is the acrobatic half of bboying, powermoves and freezes, but those alone aren't necessarily dancing. physicx has dope unique powermoves (and freezes,) but lilou is the better bboy. he's more well rounded. lilou had to all four elements of bboying, he had musicality/rhythm, he had unique and reasonably original moves, and he had style/attitude. he had flavor. he was humorous and silly. I'd say he was more fun to watch in this battle. physicx killed him in a battle before this though

Lilou = complete dancer Physicx = power move guy this is why junior has never won a red bull bc one contest either even though hes been at like 5-6 red bull bc ones. Hes a power move guy like physicx. The only reason physicx beat lilou 1 year later in 2006 at ground control is because that is not a dance show but a power move show (ground control). how do i know this? junior and kujo were invited. they care about power moves only,they could care less if you are a complete dancer. Redbull bc one is about complete dancing so Lilou deserved to win.
@@godjustspoke Redbull bs is about complete dancing? Lilou was on his feet 80% of the time. Redbull bc is a breakdance competition not a dance competition. Not to mention all the power moves Lilou tried, he crashed; which is why he just started to dance to the music taking the easy way out but still not fulfilling what BREAKdancing is all about i.e. powermoves + acrobatics + rhythm + consistency

While the audience can tell that inside the world of dance he is somehow eminent, we don't always see his 'best-dancerness" transposed on to the floor and a lot of the time find it almost 100% groundwork comparable to a rap language no one can follow or appreciate because of his bathetic competetiveness, (bathetic, not pathetic). It would not matter if the 'rap world' liked this hypothetical rapper, because rap is still at the hands of the real audience, us.
