wow so unexpected, love this album!! since you've already heard "it's not me, it's you", i recommend you to listen to "no shame", her fourth album, it's about the relationship with herself, her children and her divorce, and substance abuse.
I just love the reggea instrumentals in most of her songs in this album. It just clicks, love it! Smile and Friend of mine are my favourites. Love your reaction too mate!
@@bennshouts lol literally, sometimes i just see u upload reactions to albums i adore that no one else reacts to (usually from 2000s) and it catches me off guard so much in a good way lol, thank u for this reaction rn lol needed it as a distraction from crying over a guy whos yikes fuck HHAHA the past like month youve been helping me distract myself lol
Tbf, I cant take any of the credit 😂 Its either from everyone on here or patreon, ya’ll doing gods work, I’m just here for the ride 😍 NOOOOOOO!!!! Fuck him! He is not worth it! You deserve the world, please know that ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been listening to this album pretty regularly since I was like 9 and become sorta desensitized so thank you for making me truly think about/ realize how absolutely amazing her production is through the entire thing
I was a fan of her father, and bought this when it was released. I'm continually excited for you to hear music from years ago, but also feel so old haha. You'll also like fellow Brit, Kate Nash's "Made of Bricks" with similar vibes that came out in the same era. Lily's follow up album has some real gems too, like the single "F*ck You"
OMG YES BEN!! this is, and will ever be, the most important album in my life! I wouldn't say it's the best album ever but it marked my teenage years and it always brings me back to those times. This was everything to me when it came out. xxx
Agreed! No Shame is absolutely underrated. Lily Allen as an artist is underrated and I'm glad I fell in love with her from the very beginning! She is my absolute fav!
YES Lily!!! I got so excited when I saw the title. 👏🏻👏🏻 I was 25 when this album came out and had it on repeat forever. I’m surprised I still no every word to them because I haven’t listened in so long. Friday Night and Take What You Take were always my favorites off this album.
YESSS !! This is such an iconic album ! one of my favorite pop albums of all time. sheryl tweedy, knock em out and alfie are definitely three of my favorite lily allen songs ever ! Edited: you should listen to the deluxe version it has some bops , like cheryl tweedy lol. ^_^
OMG yay! I grew up with her, but then didn't love an album or two. But hoiy fuck, as an adult her latest 'No Shame' is incredible. She's so good when she cares to be.
And for APPRECIATING IT SO MUCH! I’ve been waiting for someone to finally upload a full album reaction to this or Its Not Me, It’s You forever and I already luv your reactions i was bopping along with u this whole time i wanna kiss ur forehead
i love this album so much!!! i defo would not recommend listening to her 3rd album, she has said that she really regrets it and didn’t really have any say in what she did which is really sad. she did release a 4th album which i’ve not really seen anyone talk about ever, it’s pretty different and much less upbeat than her earlier work.
@@bennshouts Her 3rd album isn't even bad, isn't just the least "Lily" of all of her albums because the sound is more mainstream pop, but there are some really good songs on there. Her fourth album is particularly fantastic though and one of the most brutally honest albums I've heard
I haven't heard this album in a long time. It was definitely the soundtrack of my teenage years. It spoke to me, what can I say! Her next album It's Not Me It's You is superb, and her last one, No Shame, is so raw and personal, wonderful...I hope you visit the rest of her discography :)
No joke, I listened to this album 5 times last week💀 If you had interest in listening to the bonus tracks from this, I’d totally recommend U Killed It, Cheryl Tweedy, Absolutely Nothing, and Blank Expression😉
U Killed It is my #1 favorite song of all time. Thing is there are about 3 different versions. And I have a version I found on youtube years ago that I cannot find again. Thank God I had it stored on my hard drive so I made copies lol...
This album and Made of Bricks by Kate Nash mean so much to me. In the late 2000's I listened to them soooo much I still remember all the lyrics after not listening to the albums for years
love it !! you should react to The ReVe Festival: Finale by Red Velvet, they're a kpop group n i know it's not an area you rlly explore but that album is truly an experience, there are 16 tracks and a music video for 3 of them but i see you don't usually react to videos, anyway, just a recommendation !! love your reactions 💗💕
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️ I’ll def add them to my (insanely large list) hahaha! Ive listened to Blackpink and really enjoyed them, but yeah, theyre the most kpop I’ve gone so far! Trying to get better at vids too, I need more time in the day 😂😂😂
@@bennshouts don't feel pressed!! take ur time 💕💕 abt blackpink yeah they're rlly something but their sound is a little bit generic in my opinion 😭😭 it works for americans tho. anyway, good luck with the videos!! stay healthy n don't push yourself too much, sending love! 💚
