Aubrey nailed the deadpan delivery with every scene, this kid’s comedic timing was hilarious to me. Not sure why people don’t like her or her character. She’s the perfect display of a child raised by two dramatic parents, she’s immune to their dramatics and roasts them without ever getting in trouble because it’s hilariously accurate.
I agree. Her actress has never showed strong facial expressions, and I think it's great how they didn't force her to. I think it fits her character very well
Am I the only one who thinks Lily turned out not that bad? I mean she gives attention to her parents, she protects their feelings and she rarely calls them embarassing. Unlike haley and alex who distant themselves from their parents most of the time till they got older. Manny who always drifts away with another girl situation and Luke slowly turning into a male version of young haley.
She's the most mature teenager on the show fr probably cause she has to deal with cam. She also unexpectedly popular and smart (theres episode when her parents are shock realizing she's popular and excels her studies that she got offer to skip grades)

its a commonly used plotline in sitcoms to have a character with a ridiculous outlook on life who is never seen on screen, e.g. Maris Crane on Frasier, Kenny (Bud’s brother) on the Cosby Show, Vera Peterson (Norm’s wife) on Cheers. Having those characters on screen would never be as funny as having someone describe their views on life.
