it was an amazing show i loved it.. it was for a certain audience not everyone and if you have anything bad to say about it it clearly wasn’t for you… so don’t sit there watch the entire show and hate on it on social media… if you have nothing good to say shut up.. i for one enjoyed the show and the music and the acting was brilliant

Lily is no fool. Even if the public is completely on her side. Her saying anything Negative about a showrunner or an executive producer would get her blacklabeled with the infamous "Difficult to Work With" stamp that has destroyed many female actors careers behind the scenes. (If you notice all female actors that have worked with Levinson have only positive things to say...despite all the criticism.) She's genuinely talented. I hope she gets a new project soon.

The Idol was amazing. I am a music producer though and didn’t read the reviews first so I guess I seen it in a very different way.

One of the best shows of 2023 by 5 miles

This show is a mockery of sexual violence victims, sexism within industry, and generally the most disgusting thing I've seen so far. It has really lost my hope for modern cinema. And the fact they scrapped the initial female director due to "too much of a female perspective" is so far the biggest step backwards for women in media this generation would've seen in contemporary pop culture. It has turned abuse and female suffering into the male gaze and fetishism. It also revealed to me the true nature and intention of Euphoria which I looked up to as a child, I now realise it's a disgusting portrayal of glamourised pedophilia. Whoever enjoyed watching high schoolers (For example, the character played by Sydney Sweeney) sexually performing even if it is acting, also happens to be excited by those ideas which it intends to portray.

I’ve always been very insecure about my nose, but wag chin this j realize we literally have the same nose & it makes me feel quite better as I would never think her nose is ugly, so why should I criticize mine? I know no one cares, but yea- sometimes we need to see one of our features that we dislike on someone else we find attractive to be less cruel to ourselves.

You've got some Britney issues, Mommie Dearest Joan Crawford, Jeffrey Epstein, Bryan Singer, Kayne, and ol' Hugh Heffner. For people who thinks she’s ruined emotionally after the scenes of the show - it’s actually something most ppl in Hollywood deal with constantly. If you live in Los Angeles and work in Hollywood you’d understand. I’m sure they’re both professional actor and actresses. Obviously she’s Johnny Depp’s daughter. Everything in this show is as expected. Abel is who he is. Stop acting like you’re so surprised. He’s been talking about the same stuff in his music. Why is he a bad guy now? Lily and Abel did a great job if you ask me. Abel almost never do interviews bc his agency and managers want to keep his appeal as the mysterious guy. His selling point in Hollywood is his bad boy character. It’s just all a SHOW! That’s all Hollywood is, so take it for what it is. If you don’t like it then don’t watch it, but use common sense, bc none of the things happening on she show is truly a surprise.

Portraying the dark side in an artistic way is how movies and TV shows grab attention so people can broaden their minds to topics that ruin lives. Drugs and sex have always been glamorized, thats why people start doing drugs usually... this shows the dark side of Hollywood that no one talks about. And the dark side of being a woman and general. You guys are so chronically online you can't even see anything beyond your personal perspective and it's sad.
