This is my first video with Aneurin Barnard as Snape and I think he fits very well.
What a tragic character he is. I tried to capture his regret, confusion and subtle rivalry with James over the love of his life Lily.
00:28 Lily rejecting him because she sais she doesn't love him. He accepts this rejection but blames it entirely on James instead of a lack of love of her towards him.
00:45 James doesn't want Severus around her, but until he officially becomes a deatheater she insists of seeing him and keeping their friendship alive.
01:07 As Snape lays dying he remembers his childhood with Lily by his side and sees what could've been if it hadn't been for James and the war. The reality looks grim tho, with him not being able to protect her from Voldemort and being killed.
