When the song goes "...you held back tears, trying to protect me, that must've been so hard on you..." it really hit you, you know. I never been deeply in love but theres one friend who let go a woman he loved so much cause his mother didn't like their relationship. He broke up with her in tears. Many years had passed yet he still single and cried everytime people talked about the girl. So sad for him. 😢😢
Oh... my, my, my! My heart goes out to your friend. I knew such soul too. He still visited her even though she's already married with kids for the last 20 years! Her hubby is not very happy with that though (my friend even helped his ex-gf financially too). At times, when such situation arises, it's kind of making you wondering what's the situation of the other half... Is she/he is happy and move on with own lives and families yet the one in pain still live on in the past? For the sake of sanity, we need to come to the conclusion or ending of the history to move on... Love, you have to let it go for Love to return in your soul... I’m glad there are English subtitles to this song! The words are so beautiful and sad. This arrangement was very good, too. KCM and Ms Lim sounded really good together.
KCM has an incredible voice, Lim J.... also they performed better than the original artist. They all have the range ability, but the way these two softened, harshened, held out, made the song beautiful to listen to. That harmony at the end was amazing. One can have the ability, but to put your heart into it and sing with emotion enhances and puts it way over the top. Well done
