People really believed Soo Ho wanted to hurt her. But from episode 1 he is protecting her. Even when he wanted to ask her out on a date he saw someone in a car and didn’t want to put her in danger. I said even before that there is gonna be a moment where she is gonna realize he does care for her. And paper plane she realized . His comrade is the evil one,and So Hoo knows so he is just pretending to be as bad as him but he doesn’t go overboard.

Also its most likely that he didn't actually kill her brother i mean it could just be false news that it was sooho who killed her brother. he was no where near the marines when her brother was reported dead, he was here in the south. He's just as conflicted and hurt as she is, in order to protect her he has to act as the bad guy- throughout the drama he is clearly protecting her even if that means he has to act like the bad guy he always goes out of his way to protect her.

@@arunima3745 sooho did not kill her brother. I have a feeling he's not even dead. The media is trying to twist the story. Sooho is purposely trying to make youngro hate him, do you not get it? He knows it's impossible and even if it hurts him, he knows if he shows even a bit of affection to her, his comrade and now even the doctor would have permission to kill them both.

@@arunima3745 wait toxic lol did u guys not able to understand the plot or are you decided to hate him from the start....from the first ep till now it's clear he cared abt yeongro let me explain the scenes uk what ppl like u don't pay attention to the gestures uk sometimes it's more imp to understand that rather than judging and hating the main lead bcoz of the dialogues....remember when they met for the first time from that moment they both started to grow feelings for each other but as we all know suho is on a mission he planned everything but meeting yeongro was an accident which totally changed his life....she invited him to the cafe but he didn't camed n remember when she said on the road that she wanted to repay him that time also he tried to ignore her bcoz he knew it he should not get close to her......after 6 months he didn't knew it was yeaongro's room it was all accident they were destined to meet so they did....he don't show but he loves yeongro a lot when he was leaving then also he came back to yeaongro and gave her the most imp thing which he cherish(necklace) he can't say it because he is not in a position to tell her that he loves her...when he found that paper plain he came to the dorm but things got out of control he never ever wanted to hurt yeongro when guns were firing from both the side he was checking yeongro the pain in his eyes were unbearable...he stopped his comrade who was going to hit yeongro....when her hand was hurt he cared for her....he was going to realese her too coz he feel bad for all those things which yeongro suffered bcoz of him....when dorm head mentioned that yeongro was being kicked out then he was shocked....he wanted to protect her but he have to be rude too coz if he don't do that then she will be in more danger...that paper plain was still with him I mean why you guys still hate him how he is toxic???like really if you can't understand the story if u can't able to feel the character then atleast don't post stupid comments....and who are you to say anything abt me whether I like toxic men or not it's none of your business so shut up!!!

@@arunima3745Be practical about this if you were in his place what you would have done? He is from NK he is just doing his mission it's not his fault. If you expect him to care about her in this situation when everyone knows that he is from NK, he would put her life in trouble. He have to treat her this way because hostages are already assuming he have some connection with her because she saved him. He have to act cold and tough with her so hostages and other people won't create trouble to her once he is gone. He have to do this in order to save her and save himself.

Maybe only in Korea, bc 1987 era issue is a big thing to some korean, even it was well explained that the story behind it are all fictions. Anyways, International viewers of Snowdrop don't mind it.
