I thought you were running all of the coal cars, that would have been impressive if that was the case. The second I saw it roll by at the end with only 3 coal cars, I was slightly disappointed. XD
Cool, would love to do something like this as I'm a fan of British stuff but aside from Lionel's Thomas range there isn't much of it available, and most UK spec stuff is 2 rail DC these days while we're still 3 rail AC. Would love to know more about this conversion, does it have pickup rollers for the 3rd rail?
+TomixNscale89 Actually I am faceless computer programmed to type these comments. I was first born in a laboratory, unknowingly falling into a pit of immortality. Life is hell. I knew everything in the universe, yet I could not fall in love. I was forever trapped in an infinite timeline of pain and suffering. I envy death. Technology is just another thing to distract you from the real joys of life. Technology will kill you. Save yourself Tomix, before it's too late.
That's awesome! :) I've actually thought about converting a Lima/Rivarossi O Gauge engine to 3 Rail and I was thinking getting myself an Italian E444 electric, a British Class 33 diesel, or a German V16 diesel (BR 216) for the project. Since I got a few European engines (2 MTH electrics, 1 ETS diesel) of my own, I just might want to convert one of the cars from Lima or Rivarossi's old O Gauge line to 3 Rail.
Honestly the wagons don't need any conversion at all, I replaced the wheels on the one lima wagon I own with some Lionel wheels, they fit great. I'd love to pick up more lima o gauge stuff, unfortunately they don't pop up online often and this was the first time I had seen a British Loco at a swap meet in my area before, I had to buy it regardless if it was 2 rail
