Liu Ryoshu is not bad, but I really don't like the fact that she doesn't have burn count in her set, is not a big deal against abnormalities, but in normal encounter there is always a lack of burn count and ego gift are not a solution to that, because in history mode you will not have those
yea i noticed that quite early during my tests but then again burn is quite irrelevant outside of ego gifts atm. It took me longer to verify clash power and coin power due to ryoshu having 0 burn count on her and i have to rely on liu honglu passive
To be fair, 9 times out of 10 the best teams in the main game are just damage dealers that can hit the enemies weaknesses anyway. You can argue that RR follows the same rules as story battles too, sure, but even in those fights it's usually better to go the go go gadget skill 3 nuke route
well most of the meta are usually damage dealers that have other utility like RHeath has comparable damage to PHeath, but because of 4 fragile funny numbers he is still widely used. Same as Wdon with her skill 2. but it is different for story or mirror dungeon. In mirror dungeon, ego gift exist. in story, you dont really care about turns or what is the optimal route you just want to clear it. Also there are some units that are better only in bossfights with a lot of reset. So thats why im differentiating it.
I definetly think It's worth mentioning 4th match flames' ego passive, every 4 skills she gets plus 4-final skill power as well as additionally inflicting FOUR burn potency for each coin she uses for an that turns skill, so if you can get her to proc the ego's passive on her 3rd skill (Flame Cleave) she inflicts an ADDITIONAL 16 burn potency from JUST the ego passive, totalling to 19 burn from one skill... which is absurd for boss/abno encounters.
from my tests, without t4 ego gifts the one who lost the most is hong lu, then meursault, then gregor. Sure they can deal quite some damage especially gregor s3 is a 4 coiners but look at those clash and tell me if you can win them when winrating
