@@Qobp We haven't finished Yisang's story. He still needs to confront Gubo and likely stop whatever N Corp is doing with his Mirror Technology. I'm going to guess that each Sinner will get two chapters, maybe 3 for Gregor, Rodion and Sinclair since their stories seem to be tied to characters which are the biggest players (Sonja, Hermann, Damien). So Yi Sang will probably get his EGO during his confrontation with Gubo.
@@Skifsy_guys, you wouldn't believe me, but I think Ishmael from Limbus Company™ is based on a character from Moby Cock Ishmael by Herman Melvile. This two characters have the same "whale theme" and Ishmael from Limbus Company™ wants to find someone just like Ahab, character from Moby Cock by Herman Melvile, wants to find his Moby Cock 😭
things to note: C.E.V. normal ego uses a black feather dagger (his usual weapon) while this cutscene gets the mirror shard dagger with the same C.E.V. animation
My headcannon is that the sound of glass break after Yi Sang realize he still has his wings is the sound of him wearing the identity of [Sang Yi] for the first time. (Dante mentioned in their note that wearing the identities always accompanied by the sound of broken glass) It was him metaphorically breaking out of the cage that was form by the belief that he can’t become his ideal self, by becoming his ideal self even if it was for a brief moment, that literally giving him power to finish off Dongrang, not just mental but physical strength gain from the identity as well. Or it could just be the fact that the golden bough manifests the image of him rebuilding his broken wings. I would like to think that it’s both. It would fit so well with Sang Yi's speech. "If you saw the wing on me, then it was on you as well. It would obviously belong to you. "
I'm not gonna lie here, I cried during this Canto. Not much media has been able to do that to me lately, but this Canto... just really hits different. This cutscene was the cherry on top of what was already a beautiful story. Thank you, Project Moon.
I just finished Canto 4, and while it's not nearly my favorite chapter... the final dungeon was a beautiful experience. Especially the final fight against Dongrang. Because my team was well constructed for the dungeon and I got all the ego gifts I had a very easy time against him, but the way it was set up like a victory lap after the harder first phase and all of the sinners working together to protect their friend until he could land the final blow... it spoke to me. Also, this final shot reminds me of an art project I'm working on so there's that too.
