That could actually be a fun boss gimmic. A boss that disables a sinners id mid fight so you have to protect them for X turns (assuming you dont have base ids maxed level). Unfortunatly this probs kills most solo strats (unless you just have the base id prepared for whatever reason).
the attack name is captivity, the attack doesent disable their identity, rather it staggers them for 3 turns in which you have to stagger kqe, If not ur identity will take some damage.@@HonkG.Womblatin
I wonder if you can actually kill him or if he has a solid HP can't go below point. Edit: Someone did with Sinking Deluge. The existential dread of depression twig wins against The Middle.
Sinking deluge SP damage overflow becomes gloom damage. Even then, you'd need to stack a tremendous amount of sinking while dealing with his stupidly powerful skills, which is close to impossible.@@cat_the_e
I think the most telling part of the fight is the clashing. Against any and all enemies, even abnos, when you win a clash, you can see the enemy get pushed back by the strength of your attack. It feels empowering. Your character grunts with effort as they break through their defenses and land a spectacular move that annihilates them. But not with Ricardo. You barely move him. Even when winning the clash with a big EGO attack, Ricardo scoffs and pushes you back with so much strength that you think you could have lost the attack even if the math was on your side. Even when you're dominating Ricardo with strategy, you just know that you're fighting overwhelming force that you cannot defeat in any way.
First fight to make it satisfying to use Tremor for my experience at least, realizing how the fight was “unwinnable” and only requiring a stagger threshold to be passed was neat
@@nightranger9555 No it explicitly doubles damage, it's similar but not the same (eg. It could stack if you induced a sin weakness on him which certain things can do)
give this man a :based: jokes aside,i 3 peopled it,liu ish, kong lu,nclair (discovering that ish is immortal when someone else is alive was pretty surprising so i played around it)
I did 3 people: liu ish, n clair and n faust, but I never knew that ishy is immortal. Just that fluid sac healed all the damage so I never had the chance to know.
So, I did the story stages without bringing in meta IDs. Only 2 stars and liu ish (since it's her chapter y'know) and uhh... Let me say that I was screaming about bad the situation is.
lowkey i think this might actually be the first instance that vergilius will have to intervene or the big brother takes too much time beating the living crap out of the sinners and the wave comes to pass by could go either way, could go both ways, or neither of them, we’ll see
Anyone got any tips on how to get past this boss? I've been going at it for three hours and I keep losing Edit: I FINALLY EBAT LES FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The music ramp up starting at 7:48 into a upfront brawl between Ishmael Liu ID and Ricardo is just perfect 👌. I've rewatched the scene like 50 times now.
Although this fight was hard I wasn't THAT bad for me (i finished it on my third try after realizing Nclair basically made the first two waves not an issue)
Damn bruh you crazy for this Gives me an idea however, what if you sinking deluge big brother? I mean, he certainly doesn’t have 20k hp, can you do that, now I gotta see
@@Smis1337 they put it at 25% and if the hp is below that at the next turn the cutscene plays so in theory you can get him to probably like 1 hp or sum because i actually managed to get him to 10% by almost and i mean almost to 25% i think it was somewhere 26% to 30% and he was staggered
Solo? Yes, if she's around level 38-40. LCB Gregor support for healing, LCB Heath and Rodion for +30% damage, mariachi Sinclair for another +10% damage or Zwei Sinclair for 10% damage reduction.
A team for 5-30? I haven't actually done it with a team yet but just bringing blunt resistant and blunt damage dealers should be fine. First turn the minions use a 1 coin attack, easy to clash. Second turn they use a 2 coin skill that can roll up to like 17 and inflict coin drop, so watch out on this turn. For the boss, you can pretty easily evade his attacks. You can also just use ego to clash him. Don't let him get 5 stacks of that one sunglasses buff and you should be fine. Oh and his counter you kinda have to pray for him to not stagger your units with it, he does get sanity at the start of the turn so he should roll heads faster to deal less damage with it.
I hate scripted loses when the bossfight itself potrays the boss as some homeless thug that you beat up with ease. Like, how hard it is to make a boss that FEELS like you can't win and he will totally anihilate your ass in 3 minutes? Or if you want for us to have a battle, make him power up or something, ANYTHING AT ALL. But nope. He just does that.
I didn't need to use EGO's. Unless you bring an absolutely ass team, sure, you're going to be in a trouble, but even then you can focus him down and sacrifice some health, since you only need to do so much damage. Which is exactly what the game wants you to do, clash as little as you can, only if it's required or else your sinner gets staggered, and focus his health down, get the mark, do the same.
@@Xerrack as far as story content goes he is really tough, i was playing a brain damage team still and had to stop to think for a few turns. making difficult story content for limbus is just really hard to do from a dev perspective like its a gacha game where some characters are just so much stronger than others, for me whos played all of season 1 and a bit of 2 any hard content for me with nclair gripsfaust konglu and dueldon is going to basically impossible to players running Lishmael rosesault roserodion bladesang. still i agree though i wish they gave more indication this guy was jacked to the moon like a 80 coin every other turn
i dont think the game portrays him as some homeless thug that we beat with ease lol he's clearly powerful, everyone shits themselves when they see him and he's basically just fucking with us. even when you clash with him he's PUSHING them back.
@@markpilerrealofficial honestly there's no real way to make hard content that won't be just pure gimmicks, since the only other option is invalidate like 90% of characters because enemies roll 5-788 on skills (cough cough FUCKING BULL in md2h, GOD I HATE IT I GOT HIM 3 TIMES IN A ROW AS THE FINAL BOSS) But the story was never really hard or challenging at all, including the One Piece Don wannabe. I had a mid team, and really once you let go of the "I can't take damage" mindset, he's piss easy. His mechanics boil down to being a glorified dps check, I just threw my sinners into 1 slot, with some redirecting attacks if needed, and he goes down really fast because he can't output that much damage since he staggers so easily. Will he be a nightmare if you don't have a normal team? Yes, I can see so.
Is it literally impossible for you to wait a day before posting a spoiler image as a youtube thumbnail you clout shark goon monster. Like seriously Im doing thanksgiving stuff I dont have time to finish the entire chapter part yet but I guess that I now know who the fight of it will be. really helps that you frosted out the guy we only see in the shadows so far really helpful on keeping it not spoiled
@@epicgamer2763 bro its pretty clear who its going to be its literally free just to not put him in the thumbnail 5 hours after the chapter comes out but NO they need the spicy thumbnail
first time i saw the thumbnail i thought that mf was Mojo Jojo from powerpuff girls so i think its on u that u automatically knows who he is through that blurred-to-hell thumbnail
