7:18 a small thing to note is that solemn lament only has 3 attack weight, and the Violet ordeal boss has 3 slot weight on each of its body parts, meaning it's physically impossible for solemn lament to target other parts in this fight.
One thing I adore about the uniqueness of Solemn Lament's is that both Sunshower and Greycoat work on it due to _technically_ it being AoE. Heck, even Phantom Pain works with it sorta since it's a Gloom EGO that you want in Abs. Res. . It also makes Frags of Decay good too, since any bit of Base Power and Sinking Count it gives goes a long way on a 8 Coin EGO! God, I love Solemn Lament!
*_Advancement Unlocked_*_ - The Butterflies and the Fairies_ -Max roll Gregor E.G.O: Solemn Lament and Ishmael E.G.O: Wingbeat, both in a single encounter
I loved that you used Hong Lu but never used Land of illusion Uptie 4 makes it so *next turn* all sanity loss is reduced by two which literally removes the negative of Wingbeat Ishmael reusing coins, since she won't lose sanity, and, with the 2 support passives, she'll gain it way faster, meaning way more consistent numbers
Tbh, I feel like for focused encounters it's almost always worth it to run 5/6 characters in order to give Heathcliff 2 slots since it allows him to do sooooo much more such as use 2 coffins instead of 1 when getting off the horse and getting to spam more of his S2 is always an upside!
Also the Ideal Sinking team would be: WH Heath Linton Gregor FODB Yi Sang Buttler Outis Molar Ishmael Since this team comp will leave you with the entire Dieci gang as a secondary team and once Dieci Sinclair finally releases that team will probably be as strong if not stronger than Blade Lineage thanks to Blubberbuble EGO, the two Pursuance EGOs and the shields that they all generate. (Healing and Shielding on that team will be insaaaaaane)
huge text jumpscare, -illiterate- pm fan read st your own risk: Solemn Lament E.G.O _is_ an AOE E.G.O, however, what sep separates it from the usual ones is that it *targets one enemy sparingly into another as the coin rolls, while switching targets back and forth as the coin goes,* meaning; *one coin does not hit **_all_** of the enemies at the same time, but rather, it uses one coin and shoot only one enemy and swaps into the other enemy every roll.*
I don't know why people are not understanding what I meant For instance in the Prophet fight Because of the attack weight some attacks went into the candle Making it not deal all the damage to a single enemy "It's not AoE" but it is, just because it hits 1 at a time doesn't make it not AoE
Exactly, it IS AOE, it targets a bunch of enemies, but each coin only hits one target at a time, which is chosen randomly aside from the main target (which always receives the first coin) AOE: Area of effect, even if you don't hit them all at the same time, you can still damage the multiple enemies within the area, get it?
Part of the plan is to do as much SP healing per hit as possible to improve Solemn Lament’s damage and make Wingbeat get to 7 coins more reliably, hence Ring Yi Sang and Butler Faust for the sp healing on hit.
@@ABizzareJoe By that logic Wild Hunt Heathcliff is even worse with -2/-3/+2 (0 if S4)/-1 counter, while Solemn Sang is 0/-1/-1 with S3 able to inflict up to 20 sinking potency over turns. Edit : Forgot that you need to clash win with Solemn Sang. Although yeah it comes at the opportunity cost of losing Painter Sang support passive.
@@serminimus1 wait, you did? Also, looking forward to charge. Redmist Ryoshu, though she did outspeed by others like Crack-Cliff, and Don, still a powerful damage dealer.
Bro Genuine question: how in the fucking world you are always forget Solemn Lament Gregor to be an AoE most of the time? Like the the current Walpurgisnacht trailer show it blatantly it's an AoE type lmfao
