Nice to see some pointing being done properly I do quite a lot myself although just lately the conservation architects are wanting hot lime no hydraulic or putty allowed
Its so creamy, you start of mixing say a 3 and 1 but as it mixes the lime expands and you end up with a 1 and 1.5, you buy it in lumps so no danger of dust problems tarmac deliver big loads for brickwork but for pointing just whisk it, very good cohesion extremely high permeability it will dry out a damp wall

Always like to see a bit of Flemish Bond. Often think of the old bricklayers that built these old house's and how they were living and working ? Bloody hard I suspect. Nice work btw👍
@@Charlie-d4e Some bricks stain easily and some dont, you just have to take your time and not have the mix to wet.If its a difficult brick i sometimes have a pot of brick acid or white vinegar and a toothbrush and clean them carefully as i go. 3 and 1
