Apologies for the long video! Hope you all enjoy though. I tested the lamp through a power meter after filming this and it only drew 5.6 watts maximum for anyone wondering 🙂

It's really nice gel polish and it can last for up to 3 weeks if applied correctly 🙂

This was a good bargain chick, oooh I was expecting the uv gel to be a really sheer transparent pink as they usually are in these kits but it's actually a nice opaque kinda pink I like it xx 😘

The gels really did shock me and truly made this kit well worth every penny! The lamp is ok but would be nice if these companies didn't lie about the power consumption but definitely happy with my purchase. Thanks for watching Helen. Hope you are well xxx

Yeah I'm happy enough, I would normally pay more for a set of beetles. These are just as good and in bigger bottles so can't complain!

Yes I agree, the gel polish really made it for me with this kit. It's surprisingly good for such a budget price. I definitely will be buying more in future that's for sure. It's a good starter kit for definite, I just worry about the drill especially for a beginner. But I think the whole kit in general was money well spent. Thanks for watching Michelle 🙂 xx

Sucks about the lamp but th kit has so much stuff it’s totally worth it👍👍 is started out with a drill like tan it works well for beginners 🙋‍♀️

Did you find odourless monumer? I know that Suzie from "Nail career education" sells one, a pretty big bottle, but idk what's the price...probably not an affordable one. Thank you for the video. I've just bought Limegirl poly gel and I don't know what to expect. Gel polishes are beautiful and I'm seriously thinking of buying one of the sets.

No I've still not managed to get any, they're all so incredibly expensive and usually out of stock unfortunately. I know there's a cotton candy scented monomer from enail couture that's Still has the monomer scent but not as strong which I've been wanting too but again it's expensive and hardly ever available :( limegirl is a really Good affordable brand for sure, have you seen beetles or umikk gel polish? I've done a few videos on their gels and they are incredible but super affordable. Highly recommend them if you're looking for some Good quality but affordable gels xx

@@Sammie_Jo My problem is that I live in Croatia and when I'm ordering from Amazon, I'm ordering from their European "headquarters" in Germany....and majority of time all I see is "currently unavailable". Unbelievable, but everything I want to order is "curr.unav." or has such insane shipping cost. I can buy from Wish or AliExpress, but their products descriptions are sometimes so misleading...or false.🤬 At this point, I'm quite disheartened and the willingness to do my nails is📉. Of course we have domestic online shops(or regular shops), but everything is quite expensive. And for learning, I'm not willing to pay hefty price and than realise that I don't either like the product or I can't work with it. So I'm a bit lost and a bit angry. I'll be watching your videos and definitely keep in touch. Thank you for your answer!♥️

Is the lamp good? And how much time do you put the nails in?

No the lamp isn't good at all, it's extremely low power and the LEDs are only at the back of the lamp which makes it difficult to get an even cure. If you're looking for an affordable reliable lamp I would personally recommend a sunuv lamp. You can get them on Amazon and they're fantastic 😊

Please tell me you’ve asked for your $ back ! False advertisement at its finest. Sammie I don’t understand why not buy a good lamp for under 20$ on AliExpress or Amazon? Plus you can’t let them do that to you . The polishes is the only thing that was decent in the whole kit 🙄💞💞

I brought this kit as I am wanting to do reviews on various starter kits to help beginners find something good at a reasonable price, I just opted for this one cause if the lamp had been good then it would have been an added bonus for myself but I've managed to fix my old lamp anyway now. If it wasn't for the lamp and drill then I would say this kit is good for a beginner on a budget, the gel polishes alone are more than worth what I paid 🙂 I just hate false advertisement. I shall be leaving them a bad review that's for sure! Thankyou for watching xx
