Hey i was just there for my first time today! The owner got me stoked on slot cars so I was looking at pulling out my 1/32 scale carrera stuff and get a nice controller.
Hi Guys , I like too see if you or the Guys put a Ho Maga g+ if you converted a a ho too a 164 too a 124 scale too race a 124 scale ! ( they can cut down the air and lower too the track and the magnets are stronger.
Parma Nascar1 This is our limited class too where we have to use the stock motor. We have a modified class that turns over eight tenths quicker. Sure, these aren't going to go as fast as the 1/24th cars on an eight lane track, but around our tight little track....you have to be on top of it!
+Epic Geek These are not bone stock to be fair. These are more like "Pro Stock". Can't modify the body or chassis and must use the stock motor. You can change tires, wheels, guide and gearing though. No magnet and no foams.
The relation of distance and speed is way too unrealistic. The car travels the WHOLE TRACK in less than ten seconds. WHEW !! Wouldn't it be tons more fun if the cars were like real cars. Example > Cars would be slow at first and have to build up speed and even then at top speed it would take thirty seconds to travel a straitaway. Does anyone know what I'm talking about ?
We race all kinds of slot cars/classes at all kinds of speeds. You will not be able to make the cars run slow enough for a "realistic" speed though and still keep people interested because at that point, the cars could just be held wide open without shutting off. These may look like they are stuck to the track, but they are not. No mag with rubber tires (no foams), cars will get plenty side ways if they are not driven correctly.
@@redsypher28x These are the rules I like. Magnets should be banned everywhere! j/k But I wouldn't run in a magnet class, magnets just take all the sport out of it, IMHO. Now take drags. What are those cars? Those are six wheel cars. Think about it. Those racers hang another set of wheels way out back. We call it a wheelie bar but it's an extension of the frame with a set of wheels. Drive through the center set and we don't have to take the consequences of instantaneous acceleration to a million MPH. Put the car in the slot and flip the power on. That's it, basically. Offer a class with no wheelie bars allowed and I'd love the drags! But the way it is now - meh.
