He was the errand boy because Senator Morra forced him into being one, and he grew attached to the FBI so stayed on. But I agree they shouldn't have made it into yet ANOTHER crime drama too many good concepts made into crime dramas like Lucifer sigh. Although it had a good unreleased theme

***** I agree except even though I would love to have Senator Morra, as the main character I would like if we had Brian but without the FBI because he has the charisma that is needed and part of the reason the tv show was successful. I liked how Senator Morra was kept mysterious throughout the series and whether he was good or bad was unclear. That and I don't think Bradley Cooper had or has the time to be the protagonist of the whole series because of his busy schedule and he has a lot of movies in the works also given the fact he asked Jake to head the TV Show.

***** The show WAS successful it had higher ratings than Elementary (which was renewed) and most CBS Shows renewed yet Supergirl gets the same numbers as Limitless and gets moved to another network, yet Limitless gets cancelled, Does that make sense? And lots of people have related with Brian Finch and have drawn parallels between him and themselves. Like I remember seeing one disabled person tweeting the Showrunner a letter he wrote telling him how good of a show Limitless was. Now tons of fans are making petitions for Limitless and threatning to unsubscribe to netflix if they don't pick it up for a Season 2. On any other Network Limitless will be a HIT! I think if they Made Limitless 2, Then sure have Eddie as the main I'd love that but Bradley said himself, Jake has this Charisma and is able to toggle between NZT Brian being a fun, confident and intelligent person and normal 20 year old failing musician Brian Finch, who can't even remember what he ate for dinner yesterday. Bradley was working on ALOHA 2 his schedule was very restricted on what time he could spare for Limitless, he was heavily booked so couldn't make the time. Limitless was far from being unsuccessful, but I agree on the part that it would be fun if they stuck to the original concept than making Brian a lapdog for the FBI and producing yet another Police Procedural which is abundant on Television. Limitless was successful but I agree they should've stuck to the original feel of it.
