Yes or at least 90% of it. There was a small section left attached so they sewed some of it back on at the ground to keep the blood flowing and then we got him to the hospital where they micro sewed the rest back on. Now you can hardly tell. He has also had his eyelid rucked off and it took 3 goes for the doctors to sew it back on. There is no head gear for eyes so I just try to keep my eyes away from big guys boots :) Simon
Google says that there's no evidence to support headgear being effective in preventing or reducing concussion, but surely it would give a certain amount of protection. It's common sense that would absorb some of the shock. !
