Limnobium Laevigatum Under a Microscope: Leaf and Root 

Limnobium laevigatum is a decorative plant from South America, which is particularly suitable for open aquariums, but also for traditional aquariums. The fine, long and decorative roots offer protection for surface fish that like to stay in the roots of floating plants. If there are enough nutrients in the water and the lighting is good, new leaves will grow 1-5 cm above the water level.
