I bought Chocolate Starfish when it first came out back in 2000. I was 14. Back then there was only one stereo system in the house which was in the living room. I put the cd it and set the volume loud. Hot Dog was the first track. I got grounded for 2 months. Good times !!
I was 13. I remember this was one of the albums that needed to stay hidden under my bed and could only listen to when I had the house to myself for a couple hours. Man, just typing that makes the memories come flooding back lol

I might be in the minority by saying this, but can Nu Metal please make a comeback? I love all the bands from that genre especially Korn, Slipknot, Old School Kid Rock, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Linkin Park (from Hybrid Theory - the album New Divide was on), Limp Bizkit, and Marilyn Manson just to name a few.

Сейчас, в 2023 году, я даже не представляю насколько в то время рифф hot dog звучал свежо и необычно. И до сего дня я не слышал ничего подобного этому треку. Казалось бы, что метал музыка должна была умереть на вудстоке 1999, но Уэс поставил запятую в 21 веке. Борланд - гений и спаситель жанра. Благодаря целому альбому мы имеем современный креатив.

It blows that limp bizkit and a lot of other 90's bands are a thing of the past. Now-a-days it's all about this electro-shit and 'musical talent that' is talent-less. Be sure to keep all your limp bizkit & other 90's disc's in a box.. I'm sure 30 years from now they will be hard to find.
