there's a reason for it. There was an LB concert in Australia or something and a girl died in a mosh pit or after crowd surfing and that was the blackest day in LB history but Fred learned that terrible lesson well, what a classy guy.
I was really impressed in 48:20 when vocalist just stoped music to safe smb who fell in crowd. And after they just started exactly from the moment... Amazing super professionals
I'm 27 and if I could relive one set I've seen it's this one. I remember halfway through my generation I got on my mates shoulders to see the whole crowd going insane. The energy of this set was unmatched to anything else I've been to.
TheLad -- Yeh man..tkts still available. I've got sorted. I was also at this Reading and they was band of the weekend for me so I swore to take my missus if they tour here
I never understood the criticism of the band. I can get people not liking Fred and shit but the music they put out was fucking AMAZING. Just balls to the wall.
Hell yeah same here!! I was 9 yrs old during the Woodstock 99 show that watched live with my cousins during some family get together and Limp Bizkit stood out and I loved it!
Everybody may say that Limp Bizkit nowadays is corrupt, sounds ill-digested and are not the same anymore. Look at these guys- still kickin' it, going strong, most of the original line-up (with only DJ Lethal who departed) still together. Make it or break it, Limp Bizkit is still the SHIT, and they are still amazing in my eyes!! Strong performance!!
Fitri Sama he's probably that caring because when they played Big Day Out in Sydney a while back, after being asked to calm the crowd down and refusing and actually egging them on, a girl died in the pit. Good to see he learned his lesson though.
So I was 17 (now 22!) and this was my first ever show, first festival. I had listened to limpbizkit all through my teens ... and as you can see this set was fucking mad! I’m reliving it though my AirPods rn wishing I was 17 and back @ reading again 😭
The sound gets fixed after a little while! im really impressed! they were alot better live than i would have thought! props to them for a skilled live performance!
48:23 Is why i'm here after the tragic news of Travis Scott's Astroworld festival's tragedy, the fast reaction of Fred and the band of stopping the show to see if the person was okay. They felt like they were again in a 2001 Big Day Out situation and they acted right on time. Plus, Durst look of relief on his face after knowing she was okay says it all
It's amazing how they continue exalting the crowd in their concerts, if fred does not stop at 48:22 something serious could have happened with the girl.
That’s the first Limp Bizkit gig I’ve ever seen. They fucking rock! Nothing like what I heard on the radio in the early 2000s they sound more raw live.
The most intense gig ive ever been to. I remember 2 blokes coming up to us before this gig and saying “arms down, shoulders out, work your way to the front” to us, and not completely understanding it. 10 secs into the first song i understood what they meant.
Say ALL you will and diss away, but the L.I.M.P. puts on one of the craziest and BEST shows EVER!! Been a fan since their first LP and they STILL bring IT EVERY FUCKIN TIME!
Love the comments about not expecting them to be so good live. They are notorious for being exceptional live. You except a good performance but they also expect a good performance from the crowd. And they will let you know if your not performing.
For the people who's asking "where's Sam?" Here: www.thearmpit.net/2015/10/28/sam-rivers-updates-us-on-his-health-condition/ Treating his health. I hope i helped u guyz.
It doesn't matter what band/artist is playing ... Rock in Rio ALWAYS has some of the best crowds I've ever witnessed. they ALWAYS perform alongside the band and that is a beautiful thing to see.
