It's funny, I said the same thing about Tom Dumont from No Doubt the other day. They actually aren't though... as they are all highly respected, and that's how you get into guitar magazines and sell millions of records and international tours. Haha. But I know what you mean. The instrumentals of their tracks were really solid, it's a shame they had such a mediocre ass clown as a front man.
@@alexcaminiti I think durst was just young and had a lot of ego he has matured now I understand why people would hate him in 99 but he has outgrown that he is actually a good dude and Wes Borland is amazing crazy how good he is in some of these songs
@@jakeholmes3353 I agree I’ll admit in his early years fred was a loudmouth but I think it helped the band gain more attention wether good or bad but he has definitely chilled out in recent years he does it ironically now so he doesn’t come off as an ass but I think the hate for Fred is overdramatized cause the dude isn’t controversial anymore
@@jakeholmes3353 You're underrated fred's uniqueness, his actual talent which showed more on 3 dollar, and how he catapulted these tracks to ridiculous sales with his style
I've been a fan of this band since I discovered them on MTV in 1999 when I was 14 years old. I stopped listening to them when they released their fourth album, and many years went by until I recently felt like listening to them again. I recently discovered these instrumental versions and I've loved them. Over the years, I realized that, in my opinion, they are great musicians. Fred also seems to me, in his style, a great vocalist, but these instrumental pieces are so amazing. Listening to these pieces relaxes me and takes me back to my adolescence when I used to blast them at full volume in my room. Good times. Thanks for upload this.
Lately I've been sceptical Silent when I would used to speak Distant from all around me Who witnessed me fail and become weak Life is overwhelming Heavy is the head that wears the crown I'd love to be the one to disappoint you When I don't fall down But you don't understand when I'm attempting to explain Because you know it all and I guess things will never change But you might need my hand when falling in your hole Your disposition I'll remember when I'm letting go of You and me we're through And rearranged It seems that you're not satisfied Too much on your mind So you leave and I can't believe All the bullshit that I find Life is overwhelming Heavy is the head that wears the crown I'd love to be the one to disappoint you When I don't fall down

This is an instrumental from the demo album 'Significant Demos from Hell'. I have this album. I think you can purchase it but back in the day, they used to randomly sign them and hand them out during signings.
Necesito algo para practicar la vida Real de alguien o de un alienígena, o un indígena, nadie rige nada por amor, por amor a Dios! Me haría cargo del trabajo Mientras a ti te importa un carajo Por eso nunca viajo Subo subo nunca bajo
This is their best song, lyrics and vocal performance wise. It's still better without Fred because he really sucks, but it's the one song you only need to change the vocalist and not the whole vocal performance to make it great.
Their music is really good when you get rid of the vocals lol. Not many bands in history you can say that about. Durst was the personality that made them stars, but he actively made every song worse just by being there lol
I remember it's release, it was at a crucial time in another turning point for music and to be honest Durst was in keeping with a lot of what was happening, but, those things passed and Durst was slightly out of date then
