Limpieza filtro Eheim 2224 professionel mantenimiento 

Gracias por el vídeo muy útil para ver la conexión y desconexión eso sí yo en mi caso el acuario es de agua salada y labo los filtros con agua salada nueva ya que si no hago eso mato todas las bacterias que ayudan a mantener la calidad del agua

excelente video lo agregare a mis favoritos, dentro de poco pienso comprarme un acuario

gracias por el video, me compre este mismo filtro por recomendacion de un amigo y lo limpio con tu mismo metodo y la verdad es q las bacterias siguen haciendo su funcio perfectamente gracias de nuevo

WRONG! Do not wash the filter media and water from the sink to the network! Wash in water removed from the aquarium.

Great vid just got a 2224 but mine does not have the same media inside white little stones in one tray and white and blue filters thats it?

No entiendo mucho de acuarios tengo uno de 200l (comunitario) eheim 2215 , 96l (axolote) eheim 2213 , 60l (gambario) eheim 2211 y 45l jbl interior ,y nunca limpio los filtros completamente y menos con el agua del grifo ,cuando le toca limpio una de las partes del filtro (esponja o perlon )con el mismo agua del acuario y nunca se limpia los canutillos de ceramica ni las bolitas (no me acuerdo como se llaman ) de ceramica que es donde se forman principalmente las colonias de bacterias.

yo tengo uno boyu y hasta ahora me a hido vien

muy buen video, que me recomiendas que compre un filtro de esos o me fabrique uno artesanal ?? lo bueno de los filtros artesanales es que uno le puede agregar tanto material filtrante como quiera. por decir carbon activo

Hello, i have used this wonderfull pump for some months now, i clean it as needed with a method similar to yours, i allso clean the hoses during maintenence, but lately my pump seems to have lost its juice.. The water simply trickles out, theres no go in it anymore, any idea why this might be? As i said, i clean it when needed, filter materials, rotor assembly and chamber, hoses, it's all clean.. I'm afraid the motor is burned out, but can this really happen??

There are countries, for example Holand, where clorine doesn't exist in tap water :) even so... if you paid attention to the whole video, he washed only a part of the filter media in tap water.

Lo que ha hecho no es incorrecto, separó la mitad de los canutillos en agua de acuario y lavó la otra mitad por lo que solo mato la mitad de las bacterias del filtro y eso se puede recuperar rápidamente sin afectar al acuario. Es un procedimiento correcto a largo plazo pero innecesario en cada limpieza del filtro ya que con la misma agua de acuario se pueden limpiar los canutillos afectando menos a las bacterias. De todas formas no está mal hecho, las bacterias proliferan de todas formas.

Only mechanical filter media (ehfimech) was under tap water. Biological media (substrat pro) was in water from thw tank ;)

I dont wash any media uder tap water

Never rinse your bio media under tap water, not even a small portion of it. Either you use aquarium water, or you don't rinse it at all.

You should have your biological filtration last! Mechanical first, debris can clog the biological media restricting the amount of surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize.

@Acuafilia: I don't think you fully understand what I'm saying. One thing is the chlorine, but the other thing is, you're cleaning the whole filter at the same time. You should NEVER take apart your entire filter to be cleaned all at one time. That's irresponsible advice that you are giving people. Read the other comments you're getting if you don't believe me.

Never have floss pads on top reason manufacturers put them there is so ur bio media sits in dirty water longer clogging it meaning uv to throw it n buy more from them it's the oldest trick in the book why are so many people still doing it this way u shouid have course medium n floss on bottem tray floss at top of bottem tray bio in top tray and mech mech below trays to hold back alot of dirt in it to stop the pads getn so dirty meaning u CA go alot longer until needing cleaned the bio will always stay clean people don't think about the proper way to use a filter pay alot for a canister n u want to get the most from it if u put the floss at the top its the worst thing u Can do I'd defo rearrange it

Do NOT follow this video as an example! This is the worst thing you can do; washing your filter media under chlorine/tap water. The best method is to clean one tray of media at a time, and not the whole filter at once. This guy probably had a huge ammonia spike in his aquarium after killing all the beneficial bacteria with the chorine tap water.
