Lincoln Christmas Market from the Cathedral to the Castle and beyond is great for Christmas Shopping and it's funfair rides! Let's explore it!
If you've never been to Lincoln Christmas Markets you'll find this interesting!
So we visit Lincoln for the famous annual Christmas Market weekend and join the hustle and bustle of the visitors, tourist and Lincoln residents and wander the route from the famous cathedral through to the Castle to check out the stalls where you can buy food, drinks, gifts and Christmas presents.
It's a busy one as you will see, and it can be tricky at times to get to the stalls to have a look but the overall experience is unique.
Lincoln is a beautiful historic city and we start our tour on Steep Hill where there are lots of little cute independent shops and businesses, before we head up into the Cathedral area and take in the sights and sounds (and smells!) of the market stalls.
From here we head up into the Castle for a look at the market stalls in there, and on the lawn just outside.

Yes made me laugh to , I am in the USA , nothing like this going on here . Would love to just watch the people . Every one looks like there having a good time even though quit crowded. Very festive.

Lincoln Cathedral is a magnificent building. One of those places that you can definately see where the people of faith has touched the Earth. The market looks wonderful.

Went to the market on the Thursday afternoon not too crowded it was amazing, best in years. The Cathedral is worth going to, check it out over Christmas apart from the services the flower arrangements are spectacular from Christmas Eve onwards. Thank you for the time taken to do the video.🎄

When it started there were about ten stalls around the Cathedral and one of them was destroyed by fire on the Sunday. Its really expanded now. It made me homesick as I miss living in Lincoln. Hoping to move back next year from Ireland as it will always be home.

Wow I'm watching this one and I'm like 😳 so many people there even Birmingham one doesn't even get that busy I think Lincoln Market won it this year I read it attached 300,000 visitors. You did really well walking through there if it was me I would have gave up at the beginning I don't like crowded places thank you for braving it for us all

As a local I love Christmas time in Lincoln. Only gripe is it’s too concentrated and Lincoln can’t cope . Spread it out and have it on for longer.

Went there last year, it was so so busy, cold, wet..but we had a great time. You have to expect it to be busy..if you don't like crowds don't go.

Yes but there's a difference between expecting crowds and dangerous levels of crowds like this one. It wasn't safe. If there'd been an emergency I dont' see how someone could have been helped as it was very difficult to move anywhere once in the crowd

@@daveberry2177 Yeah it was very crowded - way more than any football match etc. You got swept along, couldn't really get to any stalls as the crowd pushed you along and you couldn't really move Felt very dangerous
