I've been receiving longterm disability with lincoln. It's been a nightmare with this company from day one with short-term. But I was awarded ssdi. And I notified lincoln financial and now they are saying I owe all my ssdi backpay to them. I don't think this is right! One what they put me through, second I paid for there's services for years out of paychecks and now they get all my ssdi backpay.. im the one suffering, need to catch up on bills not to mention I lost everything I worked for because of not being able to work. I don't think they should have rights to all of my backpay! What happens if I don't give it to them
My problem is I'm in the settling stage. LF thinks my case is low value. The rejected the cut to the chase offer. The lawyers say I cant give new medical bc when I first applied I was still trying to get a diagnosis. I have heart issues, chronic joint pain, now I have mild hearing loss and tinnitus. It sucks. I feel I'm not going to get anything.
