Lincoln was a counsler of mine at the Iowa camp in Mason, IA in 2001. He helped shape & mold my wrestling mentality but also my worldview. He would always ask me thought provoking questions I would not hear back in California. I still admire him today with his success in the business world but mostly because of his morality as a human. God bless him & Iowa Hawkeyes, these guys were like father-figures to me when my father was absent.
Hey Lincoln you are one of the greats you're a humble guy as well. I read an interview that you didn't think you were one of the best wrestlers, YOU DEFINITELY ARE, they should of had you wrestle the guy you wrestled in the semis, at the Olympics, in the finals you shouldn't had been in same bracket as him. You're an amazing wrestler, an amazing man and Dad as well. So many guys, that are on no level close to what you were in wrestling, put so much on their sons to wrestle and you let your sons do and play the sport they wanted.
I knew one of the assistant wrestling coaches back in the day at Iowa. All the highly touted high schoolers that came into the Iowa wrestling room got their asses kicked. Except Lincoln Mc.
