LINCOLN PARK ZOO Tour | Free Zoo In Chicago 

Can't believe this was our first daddy/daughter day with Rosalie. There will be many more. Rosalie just love her animals. She is definitely growing up way too fast.

LOL!!! The care free days for sure. The gift shops were my favorite during that time also.

As a kid I did so many things and I still remember each one like it was yesterday. Just hoping to give that opportunity for our kids to have that. We love zoo's, but I swear Zoo's and Museums are so hard to edit - so many things there.

Addison is just growing too fast. I can't believe next year she will be in High School!!! So really trying to cherish the time when I can take the girls out. And Rosalie turns 4 in December. I still remember 4 very well.

I have been excited to give that letter reveal effect for awhile. Took a lot of time but totally worth it in my opinion. Can't wait to see yours. For us we open the map look at it, put it away and never open it again 😂. These kids are just too cute for sure!!!!

Thank you, I remember as a kid I took it for granted but up to now - it's the memories that stick out for me.

How old are your kids now? I wish I had these type of home videos when I was a kid. I was the same way, I was too cool for school when it was happening. But now it's the memories that stand out the most.

This is a really fun zoo and glad I took my little one there!!! It's great that it is free. But there is a fee for parking - just like everything in Chicago.

When we do it we pass the same spot at least 6 times. We get to everything we want but not the most efficient way.

I don't know why I don't go here more often. Finally went to your free Zoo in St. Louis this summer!!! Rosalie is a riot every time I give her the camera. She needs a shirt that says Vlogger in training.

After getting to eat so much junk food with me, she is now a fan of Daddy/Daughter day 😂

Rosalie and I had a great time. The Tiger and Lion house was closed as it was being remodeled. It just opened last week and looks so nice.

Free is great having a family for sure!!! We need to go back since the Lion/Tiger Exhibit just re-opened last week.

Chicago and Free usually don't go together. Yea, we are trying to do as much because it flies. Hopefully we'll have Addison for a few more years before she is too old for our wacky adventures. We open up the map in the beginning with good intentions and then just wander also. So impressed with those who has a spreadsheet when they go to places.

Zoos are so fun and we try to go every summer!!! Ended up going to a bunch of zoos this year for sure. Hope you have a great week.

These little girls just grow up so fast. Feels like yesterday Addie was just Rosalie's age. So making the most of the time now. And we are also older parents, so while we are young and vibrant, trying to show them the world. Totally worth checking out - especially since it is free. Too bad we weren't able to connect last weekend but I'm sure we will another time.

As you know, free is the best when you have a family. Every kid loves the train and glad we can do our first ever daddy/daughter day. Still trying to do it with my oldest as long as I can!

@@SantosChronicles So true! Luckily a lot of attractions and transportation is free till 6 years old here in Switzerland, so we can still save a bit. :) That's amazing Carl. I'm sure they will both appreciate your time together when they will grow up. :)

Lincoln park zoo is a fun place for the family for sure. They have changed so much since I was a little kid.

Yea, Rosalie has been in front of the camera since she was literally born. She'll have more training than any of us. Thank you for the kind words. Monkeys are the animals we don't miss when we go to the zoo.

I agree, our family loves the zoo. We pretend to like the map but once it gets put down it never sees the light of day!!! You have more kids than me, so you are the pro!!!

This was actually probably only my 3rd or 4th. Usually we are at Brookfield Zoo. I think this zoo is underrated and they have made so many improvements since I was a kid. And the new Lion exhibit just opened yesterday. It was still under construction when we went.

This was Rosalie and I's first Daddy/Daughter day. She is already asking when the next one will be. The other zoo by our area isn't free but it doesn't mean they don't have hidden cost also. Kinda expect here in Chicago area. Rosalie is a very independent little girl for sure. With the air show, we got through the exhibit a lot faster. Thanks for watching ladies.

@@SantosChronicles We were just at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC last weekend. Video coming soon... but not too soon cause we got like 12 other videos filmed that we haven't posted yet. LOL

You are right, that was the Blue Angels. We usually end up Brookfield Zoo but I really enjoyed this zoo. These girls will be taking the mantle when I retire:) But that won't be for awhile.

Wow, didn't realize you have been here before. Most people go to Brookfield Zoo. Rosalie will be a natural when she decides to have her own channel. I just remember how short the time is with my brother and sister joining my mom and dad in their adventures. So I'm making the most of it now!!!!

I was literally going to IG you a message about this video. I called this the Karen Luuk masking. Was the first video I watched from you. I made the mistake of doing it to 3 long words. I had 8 points and moved it frame for frame. Took about 2 1/2 hours but I was happy how it turned out.

Well, you did a fabulous job. I remember doing that masking in that video you are talking about. Yes, it takes a few hours the first time but it will be so much quicker the next time. Keep it up, Carl!!

This was the first daddy/daughter day for Rosalie and I and we had a blast. She even asked when the next one was. Rosalie talks a lot but not so easy to understand if you are not use to hearing her. Folks video bombing our channel cracks me all the time. Yea, Chris was the guy we met heading to Cleveland right before the Hot Dog Bun museum. We went to the St. Louis Zoo a couple months ago and still need to edit that video. In St. Louis, everything seems to be free. We went to see the World's Largest Chess Piece and also Chess Hall of Fame - free also. Rosalie did great on her debut. Thanks for watching it with your kids.

Free zoos are the best. The other zoo is great also but it's like paying for Disney Land. Exactly, even if no one watched our videos, we would still have great family home videos to look back on.

Zoos are one of our favorite places to go where ever we go.

Since I was a kid they really have modernized it. Last week they just reopened the Tiger and Lion Exhibit.
