Option A) USC - Fantastic recruiting area, play Oregon and Notre Dame Option B) Oklahoma - Crappy recruiting area must rely on Texas Recruiting, Play Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn only to go play SEC title against Georgia. Seems like a no brainer. Btw - Oklahoma did a bone head move moving to SEC. Big 12 was a better fit.

Riley would be in over his head in the SEC. Oklahoma will be a 3rd tier team in the SEC. on par with Mississippi State, Missouri or Tennessee.

Good riddance! USC got a coach that runs from a fight. Lies to his mentors, athletic director, players, media, and fans. Simple reason he left Oklahoma is because OU was about to join the SEC conference. Knowing he would no longer be the big fish in a small pond in the big 12, he joined the weakest conference power 5 conference, the Pac 12. Essentially he is OU of the Pac 12 now. Now he can be the big fish in a small pond again with only Oregon standing between him and conference championships. We all know national championships will not enter into the equation because all he cares about is offense. If you need evidence just use Google. His last three college playoff appearances his defenses yielded 52, 45, and 63 points in blowout embarrassing losses at OU. Pretty easy to see all he is doing is padding his offensive résumé for his next project, a jump to the NFL. So yeah. FIGHT ON! LMFAO

Dudes, OU has been recruiting in Cali for decades dating back to Barry Switzer. So, OU can recruit more than just in Texas bonehead. Smart players in Cali would want to get out of that state for good reason. Why play in a conference that hasn't experienced any real national success in some time. The SEC will only be that much stronger in the years to come. Had the Big 12 been smart, it would have approached the Big 10 and sought to join forces to create a conference to rival the SEC. Oh well like everything else in the country, people in power have no vision whatsoever. Lincoln will be done at SC within five years or less if he takes Rattler with him. Major miscalculation by Lincoln. South Plains boy will be eaten up in SoCal.
