Riiiight? I wish they would come to the States. All they need is like a concert on PBS to play on Friday nights for a couple of months, and then all hell would break loose.
This is bonus material on the Hallelujah Live DvD. the "other" ppl is actually the backup band, and these videos are recorded in Kurt's managers house if i remember correctly. The band is: Jørn Dahl - keyboard, Truls Hval - Guitar, Lars Foldvord - Bass and Bjørn Sæther on Drums.
they arent auto tuned they are pure and actually like this. ive met them and had them sing me a few lines so i know for a fact they actually sound that way
That's funny, cause they made better cover/band sitting in a ring with one drum, two guitars and their voices, than all singers from 2011 and 2012 together with best instruments in the world...
I'm European and I've never heard of Espen being on tour (I've been a fan-atic since the mid 90's and really want to see him) seems he's limited to Norway only :/
petrus albus These guys can sing for sure. Johnny Cash's version is great but toally different. And speaking as a sound engineer: Without microphones, you wouldn't be able to hear neither Johnny nor those guys here. No microphone can make crappy singers sound great. Well autotune and melodyne can fix loads of problems but they can't make you a better singer :-)
These guys have great voices, but this on NOT how you sing this song. You sing this song like you are sending a message to the police state or to the devil that you will die fighting the good fight. Singing it like you are saying you won't back down from a reneged promise to go to disneyland is no way tho sing this song.
