Dearest people, the entire musical point of this great duet is that the tempo is SLOW - that's the only way to get laughs and then hear what's coming next. This isn't the Sabre Dance, Mr. Piano Player. The mom and daughter are fun - the tempo is anything but. 3:49 for what should be a 7:00 number (first part and then encore, both of which are being done here) - that should tell you everything you need to know. BUT, changing the lyrics is not a great idea when the changes don't scan or that the music has to be cut and/or changed.
