Linda Couri -- CONVERTED: From Abortion Provider to Pro-Life Activist 

I was faced with an unplanned pregnancy. I chose life and have never regretted that decision for one second. It has been a journey and now life's little surprise is 18 years old. He is the best person I know and am thankful every day that he was given to me by God.

I was 19 and in college, not married and I went to PP to have a free pregnancy test. They told me all those same things, no one has to know, you can get it done now and not ever have to tell your mom. You said your mom would kill you, you don't have to ever tell her. But I always had to the conviction that life began at conception and this was a human life. I walked out of the site still pregnant. I gave birth to the most beautiful, wonderful little girl. She is now 31 and to this day I thank God I did not listen to that woman. Since then I had never been able to get pregnant again. I had two miscarriages. Not ever getting pregnant again has been heartbreaking because my husband and I really wanted to have children together. I will always be thankful that I was able to get pregnant once and carry that baby to full term. Satan tried to take my firstborn, but his plans were thwarted. Praise God.

Term "product of conception" and "product of rape" are phrases used by the pro aborts to objectify a human being. I am NOT a product of rape (or a product of conception). I happen to be rape conceived, but that does not change that I am a HUMAN BEING!

I love her honesty and style. Her humorous insertions in her stories, as well as the dramatic feelings she expressed. I will look up more of her talks. She is quite the inspiration. Praise God.

We need to know that these "doctor's" have to piece together the baby parts.. It is a baby. I am so proud of these former people who worked in clinics telling the awful truth about what really is going on in the abortion world. People can go to jail for cruelty to animals yet these babies are being ripped apart and skulls being crushed and it is somehow okay? I pray for our country and those who are blinded by the lies of the enemy regarding abortion. Truth will prevail in the end.

From one believer to another, we all have a dark time we go through on our journey to God. I found God and Jesus a few years after my daughter was born. I too was in denial about what I had done, twice. I was on a fast track to self destruction when I discovered I was pregnant with my daughter. My first thought on finding out was, I am NOT having an abortion. I wasn't ready to have a child by any means. I was single, unemployed, recovering from a car accident the year before that broke my knee and severely scarred my face, and I had been told that I had too much internal scarring to successfully carry a baby to term. I didn't know anything about being a parent and didn't even like kids that much. But I moved out to live with my mom and got a job. The only uncomfortable thing I experienced the whole pregnancy was heartburn in the last couple months. I played baby Mozart for her and talked to her. And the day she was born and placed in my arms, I thought, "God has to be real." I went on a mission to find out for sure so I could teach my daughter about Him. Love this testimony. I would be the first to tell you that being in the Bay Area, where the majority of people are liberal- it is intimidating being pro-life. It's scary because they're in denial. They don't realize that they are killing a baby- and in most of those cases we can keep a baby alive out of the womb when they are 21 weeks. I think being pro-life is staying true to both ethics and science. We know that life begins at conception and the heartbeat comes in 18 days later- most women realize that they they miss their period- by 28 days. So most of these abortions that are performed are well past the start of the beating heart.

The pressure and fear surrounding unplanned pregnancy is an evil spirit tormenting the mind. The enemy will help you feel great doing evil then you get the pain, grief and suffering to deal with alone. Evil always lies to you with pleasure then comes hell.

Pro-choicers always say it's the woman's body so her choice. And I never could understand how they could see it that way. And they also can't see it as it not being about her body at all, but the body of another human. So it is my business what happens to that other human being. She doesn't have the right to kill her 2 year old child if she doesn't want it. Because that's murder and it's illegal and it doesn't matter that the child came from her body. How is abortion different than that? It is absolutely NOT about her body. That is so self-centered and they simply don't get it. They see it as like getting a pap smear or something, where that is none of my business if she does it or not. It's not about her at all. It is NOT her right to kill a living being... period. It's illegal to drown kittens, but not illegal to kill babies just because they're still in the womb? I don't get it at all.

I think one of the biggest reasons why you may still be pro-choice is that you may not understand how much it hurts God to see his children being killed by abortion. You are focusing too much on the "self-righteousness" that you see in prolife people. I hope that the core of love that resides in your heart may some day allow you to love God and all his unborn children. And if you do not know Christ yet, I also hope that you can experience his courtship as Linda did

its Sickening to the Stomach about the Aborted Babies, I felt years ago to stop Women who were having Abortions & Decide that just maybe you could be if you do not want the Child there is Countless Parents to be that would love a Child of their Own, Your Precious bub would be a Prayer & a Dream come true if you decide to ADOPT your Baby to these precious parents, Your Bub too can also be that of you being the Surrogate as well, There is so many things you can Decide to do, The one thing You shouldn't do is Abort your Baby, as you will Regret it once its done. I was very much pro-choice, I thought being anything else was anti-women. I was wrong. I am pro-science, atheist, compassionate to women that have to make difficult decisions when confronted with an unplanned pregnancy, BUT I’m anti-abortion. Pro-choice shouldn’t include the ending of the life of an unborn baby, that would mean the baby never had a choice.

Remember how Jesus realized that those who crucified Him, didn’t know they were doing. He said while on the cross, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do!” We all, while trying to do the right thing, end up, committing sin, but must remember that there is no sin too terrible, to be forgiven by Jesus! 37:12 i was pro choice and going to church (non denominational) too. i was raised as a “fake christian” who believed in God and went to church only on easter but didn’t worship God in a democrat family. in elementary school, the teachers taught us about feminism and said it was right. and they said that abortion in the 1st and 2nd trimester but not the the 3rd trimester. they taught us that the fetus doesn’t count as a baby and cant feel pain until the third trimester and they didn’t even explain how an abortion procedure works. it wasn’t til i became a real christian (age 11) that i was like yeah abortions bad but i think woman should have a choice to choose. it wasnt until i was in my late teens when i realized that abortions should be illegal and im not gonna be scared to say so and be pro life.

She seems to have taken on a Jewish mind and Jewish thought process that is typically bred out of our Universities. The lock it has on a mind is extremely powerful and it took me 7-8 years of turning off the radio/tv and deprogramming myself. Re-learning everything from scratch. Relearning the TRUE world history and religion from scratch. Who 'owns everything', and most importantly ,why I'm here and the battle of good vs evil. I know with certainty that I live in the greatest evil the world has ever known (outside of Israel). I never knew it was possible for me to worship and accept as Lords those same people who killed Christ. I really did worship and obey them. But now I know the truth and realize they work against all humanity. 1 Thes 2:15. Them and their gods REQUIRE child sacrifice. Wealth came about only when we started to provide child sacrifice.

So I always hated the concept of abortion... what they have done in New York now.... abortion right up to the moment the woman is about to give birth?!?!?!? TOO FUCKING FAR!!! I am repeating my question because I do not have any reply. This is a comment I made to Ray Comfort, can you inform me If my information is correct? Dear Ray Comfort, I hear you say over and over that abortion is done by crushing the head and then the arms and legs are ripped off. This is not how it is described by those that have done abortions (Dr. Anthony Levatino, abortion procedures), The arms and legs are ripped off the living child first and the child is disemboweled and the head is the last body part, it then needs to be crushed to remove it because it is too large to be removed without crushing to break it apart. It is my guess that the head-crushing is saved for last because it is a convenient anchor so the other body parts can be ripped off not allowing too much to come at once. At what point the child dies during this horrific process is very sad to try to imagine. Some CBR (Center for Bio-Ethical Reform) People use the phrase "Beheaded and disemboweled" which I encourage them to change to "Dismembered And Beheaded" being a more correct phrase. Beyond being pro choice or pro life....wouldn’t it make the most sense to prevent unwanted pregnancies....and on top of that let’s make a woman who finds herself with an unplanned pregnancy a choice where she can make a good life for her and her child...this includes nutrition, medical, educational, housing....can we please spend more on our people and our children than we do pork barrel spending....or bloated defense budgets....this is how we lessen abortions

I'm just fascinated on how a woman can dehumanize and callously "terminate" a developing human being, to having that "A ha!" epiphany moment, and realize a developing baby is actually an innocent baby. Glad another woman realized pregnant women are nurturing a human being while they're pregnant...

If she could stop the repetitious phrasing of "you know"...that would really help. I got stuck on every "you know" she uttered to the point of it becoming annoying...you know?

All of us have compassionate but that doesn’t mean that common sense should go out the window. I applaud you for opening your eyes in celebrating life. Right and wrong still a thing.

If you truly were interested in helping women and children, your focus would be on PREVENTION of unplanned pregnancies in the first place. Outlawing will never stop it. Because once a woman is pregnant and doesn't want to be, the choices are poor either way. I can tell you as a high school teacher and foster parent of teens, they get you message about abortion being "wrong" loud and clear. What they miss entirely is messages of abstinence (which is great but not realistic) and nothing on contraception. Focus on prevention would save much misery. Focusing on outlawing just keeps America divided. We could use less division, please start focusing on PREVENTION.

I am not a Catholic. Don’t you guys believe in repentance? And this? Romans 10:9-11 KJVS [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. I find the story remarkable, but very sad that this woman is professing Christianity and sharing her story of “becoming catholic,” but she never says she did what the Bible says must happen to be saved.

I consider myself to be an agnostic, it doesn't have much to do with not wanting to "deal" with it. I justice have a hard time trusting people on their word. The only things that can lie are people who can speak. I do not consider myself as a person who can judge God if He exists and I cannot judge IF he's exists, in that perspective I am futile. That is what I believe.

I’m a Bible believing Christian who worked in a Catholic school for many years. There were many more pro choice teachers than pro-life. It’s confusing to hear a Catholic like this who talk pro life. I didn’t hear much of that in my years there.

How can one be pro-life, and yet eat death for the sake of "liking burgers"? Prioritizing convenience and taste over the life of other living beings who have a beating heart?

"It's your choice. Put it all on my shoulders." Yes, that's all he could say. That's all he could do. As it turns out, the law wants ONLY for you to have a choice. He's not like you, he doesn't get a choice. To have or not have. He could've wanted that child in the worst way possible, and it wouldn't have mattered worth a damn.

Can I just say that it is pro-life people like the woman here who I have empathy for? I'm pro-choice, for numerous reasons, and don't agree with everything she's said but people like her, who genuinely feel for the women and fetuses (yes, I use that word regardless of whether or not the pregnancy is wanted - I feel it medically accurate without being excessively emotionally charged. No, I've never had an abortion, if that's relevant.) have my respect. It's the "pro-life" people whose stance seems more based on their dislike of what they deem "inappropriate" sex and general misogyny that really make me angry. Judge not lest you be judged. Being super self-righteous never won any converts, but this approach seems like it could kick off useful dialogue.

Thank you for this...one thing please this is to help you as s public speaker...when you change or or flip the pages of your speech please don't put your fingers on your tongue... the first time you did it i thought you had a hair on your tongue because you pinched your tongue... use a pencil eraser if you have trouble flipping the pages... as i taught school i didn't want to spread germs and i cringe when i see people passing oyt papers and putting their fingers to their tonne and then putting their germs... good or bad on each person's paper.... it takes away from a what wonderful speech and presentation you did with this subject..... your personal experience is so important in this day and age especially with the new law in New York.... i am a retired teacher and my students always presented their work in front of the class... not enough is done to take away the fear of public speaking in school...i taught 4th 5th and middle school... thank you so much for all you are doing... We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts and you are so right....IT'S HARDER TO BE PRO LIFE...
