Check out Vengerov playing an actual transcription of tocatta and fugue imo. This isn't Bach anymore.

Search for Maxim Vengerov's version.. He is easily the superior violinist. It is unaccompanied and a full performance, not a simple thing like this. He doesn't need parts behind him to cover up the difficult sections nor cut half the notes. ;-)
