Sitting here in front of my laptop writing a thesis. Feeling sorry for myself all day as I look out the window at the sun thinking to myself my life is tragic...However after watching this spine-tingling performance I am now ashamed of my selfish thoughts of self pity and my thoughts are now with those who were in the audience of the Saturday Night Show for that performance, the people who carried on after such a vocal battering, the people who arose for Sunday morning mass the next day..Heroes

That's Brutal - although just marginally better than another 3 minutes of Brendan O'Connor. If the people of RTE had any sense of mercy they would broadcast a couple of hours of people scraping their nails across a black-board and eating tinfoil instead of subjecting us to hours of this muck weekly.

I assume you're being sarcastic! They're miming - 5 string bass lines on a 4 string bass? Guitarist fingerwork doesn't quite match what we're hearing either. It almost sounds as if RTE stripped the vocals off the original backing track and used that.
