Understandable, but the two videos you mentioned are/were the perfect dyad. Any subsequent videos would just be her helping people to see that there is hope beyond their "globes."

My claws were not such horror as the dirt in solfege dictation pages. Teachers granted me eraser which I lost & erasing mistakes by finger. When we got to the polyphonic I got the indelible pencil))

This will smack down all of the negative comments the video got. It was really sad how many people had negative comments. I'm glad that she emphasized how she was working really hard to dance on pointe. I love how she said that her toes were bleeding by the end but she didn't care because she was happy how everything turned out. You go Lindsey!

Andie 04 I will admit I was one of the people who was really concerned about her going on pointe- It can reallllly mess your feet and legs up if you get it wrong, but I'm very relieved to hear that she trained for it.

@@timgrant1219 yikes! She should pursue ballet if she likes it, she's great! A GOOD teacher would be a huge help and help prevent a world of pain! The art form of dancing en pointe is as unnatural as it is beautiful. It takes most people Years to get to that level where they are strong enough and skilled enough to do it without risking permanent damage but the more grown up/more committed you are the faster that usually goes. I'd love to see more of Lindsay "ballerinaing it up" and hopefully feeling as beautiful as she is(safely)! ❤️

@@timgrant1219 ballet would fit Artemis epicly well! A ballerina is a powerful, graceful force (much like a violinist) that personifies the full scope of emotions and stories. It's a more versatile art form than you realize.

@@timgrant1219 there is no such thing as half a dancer(although I do know that you ment) but a true dancer does not need so much as half their body, to dance. Lindsay dances all the time while her arms are occupied with her violin and is brilliant! Why should adding pointe shoes to that make it any different? A wheelchair bound dancer preformed one of the most beautiful in every way modern pieces I have ever seen, a dancer friend danced a gorgeous piece of her own contemporary ballet choreography while holding her newborn baby, one of my favorite Christmas ballet shows involved classically trained ballerinas dancing en pointe to a song from Mannheim Steamroller, two sisters I know did a partnering piece involving influences from multiple dance styles where each of them wore only one pointe shoe of the same pair. Ballet is an old, formally formatted art form/set of steps that are danced TO the music to visually express the music and the story being told. While most commonly paired with classical music, ballet steps and techniques can be paired with ANY music or no music at all. The only limits to the art form are Certain laws of physics and the imagination/creativity of the dancer/choreographer. It is far less limited than you think. Rock en pointe Lindsay!

@@timgrant1219 I agree, Lindsay is fabulous as she is, with her own unique style and impressive multifaceted talents! There are many things she has proven she can add to a performance, If she wants to, but she Certainly doesn't need to, she is complete. If she Wants to add pointe work to a piece she proved can, it lengthens her already long lines and adds a bit of extra ethereal strength. Some settings, particularly outdoor, Would need conscientious planning strategy. And she seems to have wrapped up the ballerina storyline and moved on to other things. (random side note, pointe shoes can be died any color, which helps in Some situations) I'm looking forward to seeing what Lindsay does next and hope she is happy doing Whatever she wants! 'I have oft' done the impossible because no one told me 'twas so..."Or I chose not to believe them!"' :)

@@timgrant1219 she did sing for some of her songs, but you're right, not While she was playing violin. I liked her video where she was her own backup dancers. The saying is a lot like the message of Lindsay's Arena. Imagine if David had listened to all the voices shouting he couldn't defeat Goliath? What would have happened to his people if he didn't have faith in God and do what he knew to do? God used him to do the "impossible".
