Im not depressed or anything I just really like this song

This song stures up so many emotions that I forgot I had due to my past. I'm 14 years old, going on 15 this Nov. My life has never been easy. I went through so much. I have ADHD and PTSD. It's just me and my mom. My dad never wanted me and tried to kill me. Both my grandparents were alcoholics before they died when I was 9. I was bullied at school and never had a friend. I started getting depressed when I was 6 years old and started thing about suicide. My mom had to work a lot to keep us safe so I never really got to spend a lot of time with her. Then, when I was 8 a guy I was "friends" with tried to sexauly assault me. Ever since that happened I started keeping a pocket knife with me because it was the only way I could feel safe. Recently when I was 13 I made my first friend. Her name was Isabelle, she is super sweet and pretty. Then one day I was bullied again on a day Izzy wasn't there. I went home and my mom was at work late again. Something inside me snapped that day. I realised that life was pointless and I was just done trying to keep fighting. I got some rope and made a noose and tied it up, for someone who was going to kill herself, I felt strangely calm. Suddenly, even to this day I don’t understand what made me do it, but this song popped into my head. So I played it and the dam that I had built up inside me burst. I crumpled to the ground, sobbing. With trembling hands I called Izzy and my mom and asked them to come home for a minute. Soon they were there and they saw the noose. My mom and Izzy ran over to me and held me close while I explained everything to them. I got better after that but still, this song reminds me how close to killing myself I came… I hope my story has taught you something that might help you, because believe me when I say, things *CAN* get better for you. You just have to start the change yourself. If you took the time to stop and read this, I have never met you, we will probably never meet. But you've found my comment, among all these thousands.
