Helix 3.70 is the eighteenth free update since Helix debuted, and adds six Original amp designs along with four additional amp models, nine new cabs, and five new effects. Note that the HX Effects and HX One processors adds only the new effects.

I got my Helix Floor 6 months ago and didnt realize that it's been out for 8 years (it was sort of an impulse buy 😅). I was just looking for a multi EFX unit and got much more, but was afraid that i may have to upgrade not long after purchasing. But apparently Line 6 intends to keep making it better over time. Even if they do make a Helix 2, I'll be sticking with the Helix for about a good 10 years 😂. Has everything i need so far.

Line.6 support and community is what is the big selling point. So so many free presets out there from users that gig for real.

Your user experience for updating the firmware and software is utterly aweful! With very little explanation on your website, you even fail to include a video of how to properly update the firmware. Folks if you're looking to buy line 6 products, think again, their customer support on firmware update is their biggest cons.

I hope they add ability to switch amps and effects in snapshot.

@@derickalbert You're not missing anything. They can't swap out the amp model with snapshots, nor will you see that happening with an update. The problem is you have to hold whatever amp you're using in the active memory of one of the DSP chips which means you either have to have two amps already in your chain, and switch between them, or when you swap them there will always be a slight pause before the new amp loads.
