Join Line 6 Product Specialist Nick Bell as he introduces the POD Go 2.0 firmware update.
The free POD Go 2.0 update introduces an entirely new speaker cabinet engine and includes 27 new guitar cabs and six new bass cabs, with a choice of 12 microphones-and you can change the angle, position, and distance of the mics in relation to the cabs. You can even drag the mics around in space for easier and more exact placement when using the POD Edit 2.0 application. In addition to the 33 new cabs, there are five new guitar amps (including the Grammatico GSG and Line 6 Elmsley), a new bass amp, and seven new effects.

I'm jealous at how you can actually see the stomboxes, amps and cabs in the Pod Go's signal chain. In the Helix you just get general representation pictures of them.

This update FULLY brought my Pod Go to life! I’ve also started plugging USB into my Monitors which DRAMATICALLY improved depth (compared to 1/4 inch into an interface) . Using the Pod Go editor is Superior to twisting knobs on the physical unit. I cannot believe how realistic these tones are! Great Job L6 staff!

Love it! Hopefully, Line 6 will come with a more powerful helix device in this form factor. I seriously think that despite somewhat limited capabilities, Pod Go is genius in aligning features, form factor and usability. An amazing piece of gear! I wish it had at least a few more slots and maybe a bit more powerful DSP in a similar form factor. I believe current Helixes are too big for many people, and the Stomps are not exactly the same things either.

I went to update the software on my Line 6 Pod Go Wireless and I had a problem where it is no longer turning on. In fact, I think I lost my entire backup. Which is the least of the problems. The worst thing is that she doesn't call anymore. It's stuck on the home screen.

I ordered the Unit last weekend, and got it delivered last night. I jumped ahead by downloading the Updater s/w, but this 2.0 was not there yet, and also downloaded the Edit s/w, to save some time today while I set it up today. I also sent in a TICKET this wk as I also signed up with an account, and my ONE question was-----do I also need to install the Driver2 that I saw on the website, OR is that already built-in one of these 2 s/w packages I just mentioned! And after watching a half DOZ YT Vids, no one else has mentioned the driver download. So what's UP Line 6?

Man I was wishing they'd have been able to put the Poly Capo in there somehow. Probably could but it would leave so little DSP that it didnt make sense.

Purchased my Pod Go about a week ago, i love it! possibilities are endless! however once updating (currently at 2.01) I'm not getting the interactive speaker to move the mic freely, any ideas why? also: messing around with presets sometimes on pod go editor, the cabinet just disappears, on the unit itself its still there, but of course once the cab is not there the sound is terrible, Help! there doesnt seem to be a button to "add cabinet"

I have been loving the Pod Go but would really like the option to freely be able to select what ever I want and not to be stuck with certain blocks that I dont use…for example EQ, Wah, and sometimes amp and cab not needed ) not using some of these opening the possibility of using it for other effects instead and going into real amps. This update would probably make a lot of people happy including me. Thank you for this update though , customers feel appreciated

Exactly what you said! I think it will be a whole bunch more cabs of which maybe 2 of them will sound “ok.” Not really the “massive update” I was expecting. 😕

I read somewhere it's also a matter of hardware capacity, machine needs to be able to handle the demand. But I also saw some guys on RU-vid showing tricks on how to do just that. Search.

@@rifqihizbul4938 I'll say it's also a hardware issue, one can't ask a machine to perform beyond its capacities, one might run into heating and damage issues. There is a reason why they have different models (Pod, Helix, etc ...).

I did the firmware update, and then a factory reset like it said to do, but now it does a factory reset every time I turn it on. Can't clear it. Can't put it in update mode. It only does a factory reset.

Hi guys! I have a problem with my pod go since a year and a half. When im trying to update the pod into a new version it disconnects from the pc and the update fail. I almost try everthing, i try with different cables, with three computers, but nothing seems to happen. Im doing this with the updater and with the pod go in update mode. I need help! Hola, tengo un problema con mi pod go, hace un año y medio que no funciona debido a que cuando trato de hacer una actualización la misma no funciona. Ya traté de todo, todas las soluciones que brinda line 6 en manuales las hice, todo lo que se encuentra en los foros del tema también y no encuentro solución.

I am having problems with this update. I downloaded the install files and backed up, installed 2.0 but had to reinstall all of the IR's for acoustic pre-sets when I reloaded them Later whilst rehearsing the display kept changing between modes with the effects buttons flashing in and out of the display. Very disconcerting if this had been happening at a gig. I will reset and revert to the earlier version if this continues

uh oh my pod go is stuck on "updating" screen EDIT: turned off and on again and the pod go was back to normal, then i could install the update with no issues.
