I think the G10 solves several issues I had with wireless systems I've used in the past. For me, the best thing is that the transmitter is inherently rechargeable, which increases my likelihood of using it in more situations. Previously I wouldn't want to "waste" using my wireless unit during mere practices or at home since it would eat up AA batteries, thus I'd only use it for actual gigs. The second best thing is that the transmitter is one piece, which makes it much less of a hassle when changing instruments or just getting up to do something without my instrument, where before I'd have the unit clipped to my belt or guitar strap and I'd have to remember to unhook that as well as unplug the cable. It's a seemingly minor convenience, but it really makes a difference in having me feel less tethered. I also love that it doesn't pop when plugging-in or removing it from the bass, so I don't have to worry about the extra step of muting the amp. All in all, the ways the G10 simplifies the process in various use-situations makes the product a winner to me!

Totally man, I agree. I use it every day. I also love how much less I have to trip over, especially when I'm doing videos. Clutter free is the way to go :)

Ya, it seems like active basses are having an issue with this, lots of people are telling me their active basses are making the same digital static noise.

ya, I'll be testing it in a rock band on the road this next week, I'll let you know how it holds up to all the stage thrashing!

You would go into this unit first, then into any effects. As far as I know, this device is meant to replace the cable that would plug into your guitar. I'm not sure if it would work the way you're asking. But give it a shot and let me know!

No clue, I've only used them with my own and the ones with an Aguilar OBP preamp are the ones that have an issue. I contacted Line 6 but they weren't able to help :/

Comfortable? Sure. I don't notice a difference between this and a cable. However would I? Probably not, just because I like to keep my signal chain as simple as possible as to rule out any problems or kinks in the recordings down the line. But I'm sure it's fine :)

I'll try getting one used eventually and test it out. I don't think I want it bad enough to shell the full price.

Ya I think I got mine on sale. I used it on a few tours after filming this video and it did just fine :)

I use it on my 5 string, I don't notice a difference in the lower register at all.

Thanks man! Ya, it was a hard move but I just love plugins and Ableton Live so much that I just use my laptop now for all of my signal processing. I'll be doing some videos soon about that, but there's just so many things plugins can do that pedals simply cannot. I do miss them tho :/ Thanks!
