this was a very very helpful video. I have used vegas since the dinosaurs roamed (before sony ever thought about buying the company) and am by no means a professional, this was something that I never would've figured out. Thank you!
I can't believe how much time/options it takes to make a gradient object in Photoshop. Corel wins again for me. By the way, I don't understand why you are doing a gradient that matches the line perfectly, you'd get the same result (and I guess even better) using a a default regular gradient that goes from black to white horizontally or just using another transition animation. Thanks for the tutorial.
Hello! I know this video is pretty old by now, I followed every step exactly and made sure I had every setting the exact same as you did, but when I try to draw the gradient line, it stay all black and doesnt work properly in vegas. I tried messing with settings but it stays a solid black line when I'm filling it in. Any advice?
Great video but how can I do this without PhotoShop ? Can I do have the same result with Paint or just with Sony Vegas ? Please help ! ^_^' Also I love you videos, they are fast, funny and still gets to the point quickly. Thank you
Thanks for this tutorial! Works fine when the map does not have to move. Unfortunately, for a personnal project, the map has to move, to follow the travel. Any idea?
Fantastic tutorial. How did you work out that combination of processes so simple but not! (Rhetorical question) Hope you have a good paying job because you deserve it! btw I like your jokes it adds to what could be dull instructional videos Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Have you moved on from Vegas to another product as I see your home page only mentions Vegas Pro 12 but 13 has been out for awhile. (April 2014) Regardless thanks again. Consider me as another subscriber. Love your work.
