We went to get my Dragline out of winter hibernation and discovered the mice made the bell housing there home over winter and peed all over the starter so we wernt able to start it so we removed the starter and we are going to fix it!!!
Next time you need cables lmk. Im in FL and use Linkbelts and Americans for piledriving LS-98's & LS-78's LC&PL&standard configurations (i also love my ls78lc but 11'11" wide no fun moving from sites) at that price we could get cables and pendant lines delivered on site. What state are you located in? You should have 5/8" drag & 9/16" hoist? Or has someone oversized to 5/8" D & 3/4" H?
If you did them all hoist,drag and boom hoist cables your looking at about $5,000 depending on if you by import cable or American made cable it just all depends I get lucky and I new partial rolls of new cable on auctions sometimes that are long enough to make a drag cable the drag cable gets most of the abuse....I also have a few buddies that get me hoist cables that came out of lifting cranes because after so many hours they replace it for safety reasons but for dragline work it's fine
@@rustyrelichunter7085 yes its expensive but in this industry everything is expensive like my 270 Hitachi excavator needs a oil cooler it's going to be about $6500 for a new one.....the reason all these old cranes are getting scraped is because my generation aren't willing to learn the art of running them I my self love running cranes yeah it's hot and dirty in there but haveing the skill to run one is a great feeling to be able to be in a room of excavator operators and be able to say you can move dirt with out the devil's oil is pretty cool to say
