I'm glad you gave Face Shrine's Dungeon theme its dues. It is one of the best tracks in the entire series in my opinion. Great list!

The best part about the face shrine is the map. Its a picture if link & the water way is him crying out his right eye. It signifies that link is sad after learning that the island isnt real & it'll all go away if he wakes the wind fish. My fave dungeon is face shrine & eagle's tower though.

Sorry, but I disagree about Eagles Tower. The mini boss was underwhelming, the boss was good though. But missing a jump and IT SENDS YOU BACK TO SQUARE ONE! That, combined with the fact that every time I go through the dungeon I just end up going in circles looking for the third pillar. Plus, it doesn’t really have much of a theme. Turtle Rock is a volcanic cave, Angler’s Tunnel was a water themed dungeon. But for Eagles Tower, we get the most random thing ever- blue and green floor tiling. I did like the puzzles. I think it was pretty unique, but arguably the most detrimental to my sanity. Oh and if your ball falls, you get to go all the way back to get it. Super fun. It also has Gibdos, a useless enemy that exists in this dungeon, but it’s not dangerous, it’s too slow, and you have to use Magic Powder to get rid of the annoying enemies. As well as those annoying Anti-Kirby enemies.

My favorite dungeon is the face shrine. Great boss, my favorite mini boss, and some top-notch music.

They changed the chess puzzle for the remake, I see - in the Game Boy versions, you just had to get the knights to be standing up.

Eagle tower was a blast to go through i like a dungeon that test me I know some ppl hate it but i liked it alot and loved redoing it The only thing i didn't really liked was the mini boss

Personally I think turtle rock is the best, despite the hours it took to solve. I'd put the eagles tower in second

4:30 *that* puzzle from bottle grotto. I put this game down for two years as a kid because I couldn't get through this room. The original hint was way more vague than the switch version.

just finished the eagle tower. honestly the least fun i’ve had playing the game so far. it was challenging but it got to the point where i just got annoyed having to backtrack and find my iron ball just to find my path is blocked by color tiles. but i enjoyed the boss

For The dodongos(snake things) in key cavern it’s easier to place the bomb in front of them rather than throwing it over and over missing

Honestly, color dungeon was my favorite dungeon. I really like all of the puzzles and the layout, and it has a really good boss. Also, the item is super overpowered. And eagles tower is actually my least favorite. Having to traverse all over the place through all of the floors was so annoying because i had to walk super far to do a simple task and the pillars were also annoying destroy. The boss was pretty good, and the item was also a little underwhelming.

I think Turtle Rock takes it by far. The lava design is new to the game and cool. The puzzles are great with navigating the robot to burning ice. It also has great mini bosses. I know Hot Head isn’t that good, but it is a bit underrated.

My list (Nintendo Switch): 9: Bottle Grotto (setup could be better; the Hinox (miniboss) is cool, but I dislike Genie) 8: Key Cavern (plain setup, i REALLY don't like dodongo snakes, and Slime Eye is a little better than Genie so I ranked it higher) 7: Tail Cave (nice and easy "intro" to links awakening, and the miniboss it fun, molder is decent) 6: Color Dungeon (unclear to find it, which can be annoying, I don't really like the minibuses, but the hardhit beetle is one of my favorites) 5. Face Shrine (it has decent soundtrack, I dislike facade, but smasher is my favorite miniboss, so I put it here) 4: Angler's Tunnel (it has good soundtrack that matches with the water theme, and flippers are quite cool, but I dislike the miniboss, and Angler fish could be better) 3: Turtle Rock (very good design and I like the fact it is shaped like a turtle, and the only reason I ranked it lower is because of hot head 2: Catfish's Maw (I would rank it number 1 in therms of items,, because the hook shot is overpowered and if the boomerang was in a level, than I wouldn't put it in second (maybe 3 or 4); Master Stalfos is cool, with the miniboss and Slime Eel) 1. Eagle's Tower (very unique map, being the tallest in terms of size, and the Grim Creeper miniboss and boss fights are very, very nice)

Face Shrine is the best dungeon, having some of the most interesting themes and a great soundtrack. I thought the eeriness of the statues and the boss being a giant face made it one of the coolest dungeons. Turtle Rock was second best.
