Am I the only one that likes the sfx better in this version? There’s seagulls and the wind fish actually makes noise, where as in the remake it’s hard to tell from the loud ass ocean
@@Sarah_Kinz The electrical buzz of Link's attacks connecting with the Nightmares, the wail of the Wind Fish, the Full Moon Cello-some of my favorite sounds to ever come out of a speaker.
Playing this game back in 1993 after the past 3 games must have been surreal, the endings are so much more simple and just take place within the game's regular engine Then you have this beast of a game with a much more cinematic ending with so many amazing shots Truly a marvel, makes me wish we had more 2d Zelda games with these kinds of closeup shots (and I still wish that Zelda had an OVA)
I played this game back in the days. Not only the game was very good but the ending was truly something else. It left such a deep mark in my memory. I would say is my number 1 game to date. The new remastered version is also incredibly well done. I would say the creators put all their love into it.
@@ConcordTheGymnogyps Despite what it seems like, Link's Awakening DX was an official port and started this whole trend of homebrew ports to the GBC with "DX" at the end of the game titles
WHAT I SPENT 9 HOURS TRYING TO BEAT THAT BOSS AND YOUR TELLING ME IT CAN BE BEAT WITH A ONE SHOT OF THE BOOMERANG!!!! welp that's 9 hours wasted oh well
Jim Chen i dont know much about the original but probably the end screen without that fairy marin. In the dx and the switch version you get a picture of marin
So after all that, not only are you stranded at sea but you didn't even get to bone Marin?! May as well just stayed on the island and not bothered helping at all.
nope this is not the no death ending the original was like the coklor remake wihout color and a little longer showing link tear up when marlin becomes a seagel
