From what I've heard, Mike wrote this song for Chester and his (former) drug addiction. I heard it was difficult for Chester to even sing this song at first because he got too emotional. I think that's why Chester shows more emotion here than almost any other song he performs.
awesome song, awesome band and awesome voice!! i love this song. this song is sooo hamma!! and chesters voice... yeah.. i can´t find any word for this.. his voice is... awesome, awesome, awesome!! LINKIN PARK 4ever... and BREAKING THE HABIT.
I put this in my bookmarks on my home computer, but after having heard this over and over and still completely blown away by Chester's intensity for the hundredth time, it's now a favorite and indelibly stamped on my conscience. This is not a small statement. I own 3000 CDs and normally disdain most live performances for their lack of perfection. This is aced, homered to center, knocked out first round. Unbelievable.
the most wonderful song in the world, just .. just ... just beautiful , i always almost cry when i hear it . Linkin Park , you are simply the best !!! [LP] please come to SLOVAKIA , PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE, TO SLOVAKIA ..........
damn his voice was really really strong in this concert. sometimes he goes all out to soon and his voice starts to crack, but this is flipping amazing. isnt there a rumor goin on that they were drunk during this though? haha maybe the booze might have helped
Man LP is getting better by the sec pretty soon no band will ever be able to top them i mean they break the charts without even trying and the way he screams it's not like those really heavy metal bands his is more of a controlled scream which makes him a good singer and their songs really good.
im not expecting them to be the same as they were in their younger years, im just saying its not fun anymore to watch them perform their songs. And its not just mike and chester who dont jump and move around like they used too, Its the whole band! Brad doesnt jump and go crazy like before as well as phenoix. And dont say that they are older now and cant do that anymore cause they are still really younge. not one of them is in their 30's yet.
i hate to say this but LP just isnt the same anymore. other than the fact that they completly changed their sound, they also dont have the same intensity during their live shows. Now, before anyone goes jumping to conclusions, i am and always will be a LP fan. I have been a fan since the Hybrid Theory era. I mean look, watch this concert and then watch a concert of theirs from the Hybrid Theory era or Metorora era. it just isnt fun to waych them anymore.
