a dream broken forever.. no linkin park tour of India! India is probably their 3rd biggest fanbase and we have been dying for a live show since 2003.. meteora changed how this country of 1.3 billion thinks! yeah, it's big! Chester, you're maybe gone but you'll never be forgotten!
Siddhant Mishra sorry mate it is too late to say but how they will perform their classics like one step closer and bleed it out which requires powerful vocals like chester and without him it is not possible and hollywood bowl concert of 27 october 2017 is reflection of this fact that chester is gone forever so tragically it is #RIP LINKINPARK (1996-2017) but their music and chester's voice will live forever in our hearts but i want mike shinoda to come to india in promotion of his post traumatic
ddk y2 I like only some songs of Post traumatic..... The reality lies in LP songs only..... And we Indians have the most powerful vocals in all...... Hence, our fan base won't be dead..... And we'll sing the powerful songs with them, because chorus sounds more like a scream, to me !!!!
Siddhant Mishra i agree with you but without chester we have already saw it in tribute concert when they performed in the end which was too difficult for them to perform without chester and they leave numb to all those fans for covering chester's vocal without chester it is like thousand knife stabbing in your stomach it is up to them whether they will continue under same name or not if they do they should not change their logo but change their style from alternative and metal to modern pop which speaks about drug, party, sex it would be the only way for LP to survive regardless whether LP fans will support them or not but in my opinion all 5 members should continue under new name with new vocalist then i wish they should come our country to perform i will love to see them performing live
Most of the time it is talked about when Mike has a hard time with the vocals but in this show he was flawless I would say and his voice fits perfect anyways
In this performance, Bred was finally given carte blanche to show his real skill on the electric guitar. From his face you can see he is happy to perform such tracks when he is not in the background as usual. Brad is underestimated!
take note that chester is sick while performing here, but the band still pull this off like in the studio version, and in fact much better. dont always praise chester like he's the whole band, love other members like how you love chester, they're family.
Chester will always make me dream with the incredible sound of his soul through his magnificent voice. And Mike his strength his love his fantastic voice... He keeps me dreaming today. Thanks guys. Love u all.
best song on the last album. I am glad they played it live. no other song of the album really stucked in my head but I will give it another listen asap
Today, we stood on the wall We laughed at the sun We laughed at the guns We laughed at it all And when they They told us to go We paid them no mind Like every other time But little did we know Today, I looked for a sign With flames in my hands A line in the sand Between yours and mine And it came like fire from below Your greed led the call, my flag had to fall But little did you know Another day, your truth will come You're gonna pay for what you've, pay for what you've done You'll tell them give me back what's mine Give me back what's mine I had never been a coward I had never seen blood You had sold me an ocean And I was lost in the flood We were counting on a leader We were driven by need But couldn't take temptation And we were blinded by greed You were steady as a sniper We were waiting on a wire So we never saw it coming When you ran from the fire You can try intimidation And you can try to ignore But when the time comes calling Yeah, you are gonna get yours Another day, your truth will come You're gonna pay for what you've, pay for what you've done You'll tell them give me back what's mine Give me back what's mine And so today, your truth has come You’re gonna pay for what you’ve, pay for what you've done You’ll get what’s yours, you’re out of time And you will give me back what’s mine Give me back what’s mine Give me, give me back what's mine What's mine Give me, give me back what's mine What's mine, what's mine Give me back what's mine Today, we stood on the wall We laughed at the sun We laughed at the guns We laughed at it all And when they They told us to go We paid them no mind Like every other time But little did we know
This man will be never forgotten, God has given him to music history and Wings to be Free from His pain. Chester The Legend Bennington. Best voice of his generation with Chris Cornell and Layne Staley.
this is why we loved them, what their music means for us, is so much stronger that we think it is, all I gotta say is that Chester, was, and always will be my hero like Mike Shinoda as well
It came on my mind, too... But today, we all are just laughing at the sun, laughing at the guns.. nobody take it seriously, because ,,it can't be happing to us, of course not"...
Yeah. Brad doesn't show all he can do. I'm impressed with his skill even though he doesn't show it often. Sweeping, tapping, chugging and riffing are all really cool
Great live and band ! Wish we could have more bands now with that quality of writing and that freaking energy ! Good old times there or I'm getting too old for the new shit with no soul and balls :-). I bumped on one good song the other day, like to share the discovery. A shame they don't have more views given the great sound they deliver : @
they can play it at its normal pace even faster, check the lpu about the odyssey aka a line in the sand, check out rob playing drums (and brad and mike on the lputv reharsing it, brad goes perfect on it), you know man, no one is perfect, you never are as good as you can be on every occasion, and this is one of the first times they performed it live, watch all other songs, check the first plays and then watch them 5 or 10 years experienced later
