@user-sx3uf7xq3c you are wrong for judging him, you have no idea what he was going through or his reasons to take his own life, while I agree suicide should never be the answer you shouldn't judge him and and look down on him for makeing the decision he did. My heart goes out to his family, We lost a great person that day.
I miss him so much. Even I don’t know him personally. But their musics brings a lot of memories to me. It seems like I lost my brother. Rest in peace Chester..

Normally dont have dramatic feelings in regards to celebrities who die. This one (and chris cornell) actually hit me. What makes it all the more sad is the music he sang that spoke to so many, encouraged and saved so many, was about himself... and we missed it...

Только он мог петь как ангел и кричать как демон. Весь мир знал как ему плохо, но никто не смог помочь. Одиночество в толпе - ужасная вещь. Сегодняшняя эстрада по сравнению с ним ничто - это песни, взятые с потолка, а не с собственной шкуры. Понятно, что того LP, что был раньше уже никогда не будет: в группе замену ему даже не ищут, ибо таких нет и не будет. Спасибо Майку Шинода за мужество и силы продолжать исполнять эти песни. Покойся с миром, легенда! #well, we do.
Майк Шинода невероятно талантлив, и я очень дорожу возможностью услышать новую музыку от него. Будет ли когда-то совместная работа с другими участниками Линкин Парка, или же он продолжит работать над соло проектами - я с нетерпением жду его творчество!

But suffice to say, it's not easy to find a reason to live when your world is painted black, when you can't believe that anyone truly loves you, when getting out of bed in the morning feels as hard as climbing mount Everest and you can barely remember the last time you were happy. At that point, you're trying to fight, because you know that your mind is lying to you- because there are good things in the world; because people are PROBABLY not lying when they say they love you and care about you; because it will get better... but all you need is a little push to fall off the ledge- and I think Chris Cornell's birthday was that for him.
I was an original member of the LPU in the first year. They sent me a signed copy of their EP from when their band was actually called "Hybrid Theory". Also used to watch them perform for free at Backside Records in Burbank, CA. That record store is now mostly a clothing store but they still have a signed platinum album on the wall thanking Backside for all of their support.

This is very sad. He's knew years ago he didn't want to be here. LP has affected my life since my senior year in high school when one step closer came out. Depression is a horrible thing that is very strong

People don't know the meaning of acoustic.... meant to be listened to, and NOT be heard by any surrounding noise. And I don't care where or what is the setting of location is... I wonder how you guys feel if you go to a theater and others be talking loudly on their phone or to others?
Even the musicians likes when people sing along with them, it feels amazing. If you don't like it that is your problem or preference. I'm pretty sure that there is alot of acapella versions and acoustic version that you can hear if you like.
