Even someone like me, who is not really into rap/hip-hop, celebrated these tracks at the time and still likes to listen to them today. The energy of these songs has something special. And in general, as soon as I hear 'One Step Closer' these days, several layers of goosebumps start to pile up. 🔥🤘🏻 LP will forever occupy a huge part of my music heart. 💔 _____________________ _"Sometimes we laugh because we're sad or to hide our frustration"_ - from *Gacharic Spin* -「 I Wish I 」 🎶✨
Jay's the Goat. Greatest live artist Ive ever seen. I was lucky enough to see Jay & Linkin Park do Collision Course set at Milton Keynes in Britain the day after Jay headlined Glastonbury. It was awesome
There was a MTV documentary *(ultimate mash-up)* making this album. That performance was live at the Roxy is a cut from the documentary. If you watch the first part it's Jay-Z arriving & behind-the-scenes in the studio of them meeting discussing & making the album collaboration *(Collision Course)*
Cool back story on this they had 2 seasons to practice this and put out a advert for a free live show for a small audience of only hardcore fans of linkin park and Jay-z. Only a handful of Jay-z fans turned up the majority was linkin park fans and if you notice the look on Jay-z’s face in the performances he constantly looks shocked because he didn’t know if the cross over would work and if the fans would like it. He also admitted he had never seen anything with live linkin park before so his experience with live concerts and his fans was them just watching and swaying or bobbing around to the music he loved it but was in a constant state of shock how hard the fans went. He also said it was the reason he chose to do Glastonbury festival after feeling the energy from this small crowd compared to rap and hip hop crowds. It was a one off show and they made a album of this music called Collision Course 👌🏻. Now with that information watch the videos of this concert again and watch Jay-z’s face 🤣 it’s funny how he just can’t take it all in 😁👌🏻
Парни молодцы! Красиво реп поют! Не зря их зрители любят. Очаровательная ведущая с сердечком на чёрном платье тоже о них хорошо отзывается, молодец девушка!❤💃
I always love " One second..." said with a eastern European accent, It always wakes you up to the sound at the moment. Thank you for your focus and attention to detail to point out the short cuts. Take care.
*Linkin Park Jay-Z Collision Course* at the Roxy *(Jigga What/Faint)* *(Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You)* *(In the end/Izzo)* *(Big Pimpin/Papercut)*
I love your facial expressions Miss Bisscute, great reaction to this mash up rock rap, suggestion for future reactions: if you don't know The song, hopefully you can react to the original fusion of the two musical genres, song: Aerosmith with Run D.M.C. "Walk this way"
Theres Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You and Jigga What/Faint from that concert. And then obviously Numb/encore that you allready know. But its still nice seeing it as live version.
Fun fact... linkin park did a survey to their linkin park underground members asking who their top 5 favourite artists were. If Jay-z was in those top 5, they got free tickets. Watch the documentary, It's incredible, along with the creative genius that went behind the mash ups. And of course, just Chester being Chester... 'I ordered a frappuccino, where's my fucking frappuccino?!'
Would love to see you react to the band AVATAR and their song Napalm (Live from Ages). They are from Gothenburg, Sweden. They just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Airplay, and got a fossil named after them!
Loved to see you do some Rage Against The Machine, Know Your Enemy, lyric video is a must. Continue your great appreciation of different musical styles
Hi Bisscute, if you want more Linkin Park, I hope you can react soon to "Little things give you away " live @ OeirasAlive, it's a magical Chester perfomance ( and in my native Portugal) and I'm sure you will love it. The lyrics are about the Hurricane Katrina disaster .
greetings from Uruguay great music I see it with low volume because I'm in the hospital 🤫 until Tuesday with the remedies and on Thursday they admit me
You better to react on : Linkin Park - QWERTY (Summer Sonic Tokyo 2006) HD Thats another level of Linkin park and i guess you wont forget the vibe. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I AM here for the very first time actually. Well...no...I'm not....I saw your Smooth Criminal reaction video. I know I'm super new to the channel and I'm not sure how you take your requests but, it would mean the world if you would react to Sevendust- Holy Water. Sevendust has been my favorite band for since 2001 actually....I'm 36 and still listening and they've never put out a bad album. Anyway I've subbed and look forward to seeing your channel continue to grow :)
Like many when I heard that this album was coming out I figured it was just a cash grab but they did something no one else I have ever know do! They made rap fans listen to rock and rock fans listen to rap! Run DMC and Anthrax did the same but they only did one song together (Run DMC and Aerosmith, and Anthrax with Pubic Enemy) And Jay and Linkin Park showed it worked completely!
I'm not sure how I feel about this song, I mean I love the music part but I'm not really a fan of hip-hop/rap. With that been said I still enjoyed the video and reaction
