Absolutely as a male that was sexually and physically abused as a child this just clicks in my head and miss Chester's voice so much been on a Linkin park kick for the last couple months with my depression almost crippling me and leaving me wanting to find somewhere I belong

Man, do not listen to this too attentively when you feel a bit down. This song just oozes with utter self-disappointment and maybe even shame mixed with an unquenchable, hurting, relentless desire to improve oneself, break free from life-long shackles, and get better. And finally be the way one always wanted to be.
Also can be motivational ..I did use to listen to this song in the manner your speaking but now it has become motivation to push yourself out of the darkness ..like helping bring life into oneself.. instead of not feeling..if you get where I'm coming from. They always truly get the pain u were in after you die ...I wish I could find a humane way to die but I guess it’s impossible .... I've survived 2 suicide attempts and if it wasn't for me getting the help I needed when I did, i wouldn't be where I am today. Keep moving and keep pushing through because great things come off the back side of pain and there are great things waiting on the other side of the tunnel so just keep pushing through. His lyrics are still great, and the sad fact that he passed away does not change that. Beethoven is a great composer, because his work is great even 300 years after his passing. Chester's work as a musician and writer is still great, I feel touched by a lot of his songs and this does not change because he died.

Good day all you LP fans!! I am 70 and my son loved them when he was 12 so I heard them and liked them back then! Now I work part time and guess who’s on my ear buds? Yep! Makes me work faster! Chester I think never found where he belonged, and I also never found where I belong. Still looking😢Their lyrics are very strong and they touch a nerve. But they also pump me up to work at my cleaning offices job. And at the end I always ask Chester to be in a happy place. He had to have had some massively deep dark feelings but I am glad to have been introduced to them! Rock on!!!😊
