To all of those people who love listening to A Light That Never Comes remixes, just know that how you can give somebody a few stems and literally make the song you have been listening to into millions of different songs. I love that fact
***** Jesus, they wanted to go ina different direction and change their sound, it's not the work of fucking satan! even with The Hunting Party people are still saying "what happened to the good LP?" "Where'd they go?" THEY NEVER FUCKING LEFT, you get a good album that combines Hybrid Theory and Minutes To Midnight and other infulences, and you fuckers still aren't happy. Spoilt children.
Honestly it sounds like "What I've Done" was fused with this song and became the baseline (pretty much same notes and scale) As if A Light That Never Comes was released in the Minutes to Midnight era
This mix is brilliant!! Mind if I use this in a set? I'll of course put details into.the tracklist... I could sweeten the deal by linking directly to your channel :)
Translate Me: Me encataría que Paul trabajara también con 30 Seconds to Mars para algún tema nuevo o para remasterizar otro como "Do or Die" es uno de mis favoritos.
What I don't get is you guys say that linkin park wanted to go in a different direction and say that you still follow them but yet you complain when they go electronic?!?
Nah bro it’s not like that people just getting nostalgic on the stuff they grew up with they miss it is all not that the new stuff is bad it’s just not what they grew up with. Like a tv show you miss when they kill off the characters you will miss them like it was in the beginning the shows not bad you just want a bit of the old group back
The only problem I find with these remixes is that the entire song is at its peak. This can actually make it less interesting. It's better to make it mellow for the verses and peak it at the chorus. If that's your style, though, keep it up by all means.
I consider this mix a success, considering unlike the original, Paul gave a shit about his work and put some effort into it. He also has the talent to boot. Steve Aoki however is a DJ and when it comes to remixes, his arent bearable even when intoxicated. Having heard the "studio remixes" has made me lose interest in linkin parks new stuff altogether. Linkin park claims its going in new directions: fact is their new stuff sounds a lot like the work of the artists they tour with, and I dont mean just being inspired, they sound like a cheap ripofff of other bands (Beta State) with their new album especially. TL:DR Paul Uderov's version has an originality and nostalgia in his remix that lacks on other Remixes, and the original.
