A relaxing time-lapse video of making an original hand-carved print. In this video I go through the stages of transferring the drawing, carving the linoleum block, and printing with my book press. I talk through the process but also allow you to enjoy the carving with the relaxing music.
The print is of a restaurant in Sorrento, Victoria, Australia.

Hi, beautiful work! Cab I ask about the ink at the beginning - I tried this once but my ink was even after several hours of drying making my hands black while carving - do you have any tips? Thank you! :)

Thanks! It could be the type of ink you're using? I use black India ink by Windsor and Newton. I believe it's based on shellac and is water resistant. It still took maybe 15 minutes to dry.
