I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Nice video share. I totally switched to Ubuntu as my daily driver back in 2019. Have used MS in a VM for perhaps a couple of hours since then..so MS is basically "redundant" in my world. Linux is incredibly STABLE..like a rock!

I would be happy if you publish a video where you show how to set up and explain the Nvidia environment with Docker.

Refreshing to see ThinkPad

Actually davinci resolve is for Linux. It is the best alternative to adobe after effects. It’s really amazing if anyone is interested.

If anyone is reading this and is too unsure to make the switch or too scared, just make the switch. the only considerable thing you would miss is Tableau Desktop. I have been using Arch Linux for a year. And I have felt my troubleshooting skills just drastically improve after the switch. Trust me, you will gain a new level of confidence using Linux.

I wish you could make a video on how to apply a code from a paper. I've been trying to understand how to run the "CyCADA: Cycle-Consistent Adversarial Domain Adaptation" code using windows, but still not able to, even though I know how to use python to some degree.

Rapids works in WSL.

Quick question, what is your Linux suggested distro to run in Lenovo Thinkpad P50. I'm using the Thinkpad docking station 230W as well for external monitors. I'll be using this hardware for software developer purpose.
