Dad isn't trying to play with the cubs, he is irritated. That's why he keeps baring his teeth and swats the cub with his paw. Mom to the rescue. Looks like a healthy lion family.
These lions are so very smart and just amazing. Lioness came to the rescue when dad got a little irritated and aggressive with the cub. She dropped that bone jumped off the jeep and came running to intercede!!!
Its niot that everything that god created isee they have enormous intelligency. only we can talk they cant as god said we r the best creation but they rnot less,they live their children care it as we do.allof our blood is aslo red

Zoo's are the only safe holds for these beautiful creatures sadly, Of course nobody wants to see any animal inside an enclosure, we all want them out on the open plains, however if you have studied and observed them long enough you understand the greater risk to these guys in the wild, numbers dropping from 200,000 down to 20-25,000 in less than a few decades. Canned hunting, poaching for there claws, teeth and bone for Chinese medicine, sexual function and wine. Not to mention being poisoned as people are starting to encroach on their territories and food sources. If we want these beautiful cats to survive Zoo's, wildlife parks, and highly protected reserves are the only option, that or risk being only able to see these big cats from books once they have been murdered and hunted to extinction.
EXACTLY HOW I FEEL!!! I HSTE ZOOS SO MUCH , THE USA ENCLOSURES R WAY TOO SMALL!! IF LIONS R LOCKED UP IN ZOOS USA ZOOS SHOULD COPY HOW HUUUUGE CHINAS ZOO ENCLOSURES R!!! OR HUGE HECTERS OF FREE LAND LIKE THE LION SANTUARIES IN SOUTH AFRICA HAVE!!! LIONS NEED MENTAL STIMULATION, FREE SPACE TO RUN, EXPLORE NATURE!!! RUB ON WILDEBEAST POOP AS THEY LOVE TO DO , ETC!!!
